Behind it all

One night

He smiled and o-my he had beautiful white teeth and a stunning smile. this man was so attractive that he could turn any girls head. I put out my hand for him to shake and we shook hands but when we did there was a shock between us it made my hand warm with electricity. i think he felt it too with the look he had on his face. i smiled and shook it off. He asked if he could stay a few minutes to finish feeding the horses. i told him i dont have a problem with it "can i help?" i had to ask. he said "oh course i dont have a problem with it." He said with that amazing smile that makes me melt with just one look. i flowed him to the barn to pick up the feed again. he picks up the 150 pound bag like it was nothing. he lifted it over his shoulder and dumped some in a 25 gallon bucket. the sun was starting to set. it was a beautiful view. we walked to the fence to dump the feed when a horse started to quickly walk are way. "can i feed her by hand?"

He nodded his head which was suggesting a yes. i smiled politely and held out some feed in my hand. she snorted and munched on the feed. she was white with a black spot on her ear. stunning i said to myself. "could i ride her some time? she is beautiful. is she yours?"

He said "yea, i dont mind. dose that mean i will be seeing you again?"

"Yes she is mine, she is a beauty ain't she?"

I blushed. he was so handsome. ugh the struggle of not getting to know him was killing me. "of course you will see me again, you saved me and i owe you."

I said. He looked at me with a crooked grin and chuckled. it was hot as hell. was there anything about this man that wasn't attractive?! "you could do me a favor."

Wanting to know i asked "what?"

He said with a smile "you could go on a date with me?"

With that smile i just didn't have the guts to say no. not that i wanted to.

I smiled and said "well i guess. i mean i do have to pay you back in some way."

He laughed " so what would you like to do?"

I said " i would like to ride your horse or maybe just hang out something simple. i am a simple kinda gal."

"Hum" he said. "okay how about both."

I shook my head as a reply.

We finished feeding the horses and it was almost dark. he put the bucket in the barn and walked around back to where his truck was he pulled up five minutes later. and told me to hop in. i did as he told an buckled up. we talked on my ride home. we were almost there when i got a buzz from my pocket. it was Montana asking me about the date. i didn't want to text right now. i jut wanted to spend every moment with alic. what the fuck am i thinking. i don't know his last name his age... anything. well i could ask him before we get to my house. so i did " well i don't want to feel stupid to find a man attractive and not know his last name, where he grew up, or his age. so could you tell a girl?"

You could tell he was kinda shocked. he opened his mouth but that shit eating grin stopped him "well to start my last name is Gardner, i grew up around here, the little town of peebles, and my age 25, and you find me attractive now do ya?"

Shock drove in me when he said his age. i am only 17. Ughh.. he asked me "what if i found you attractive a didn't know your age, where you grew up."

I said. "i am 17, and we grew up in the same little town."

He looked at me and then looked worried. why though? he whispered "damn"

To where i couldn't almost hear him.

He asked " whats your number? I'll text or call you when ever..."

I asked to see his phone and he handed it over with ease.

He smiled and looked at me with grace.. i have known this guy what 2 hours and i feel like i have known him most of my life. he said "its my turn."

I hand him my phone and once he handed it back it said.

I smiled at that. gah! we were almost to my house when i came up with the best idea that i could come up with. "hey being i dont know you that well could we just drive around and talk? i could tell my grandma i am going to my friends house. I'll talk to you about her.

Soo.. what do you think?"

He furrowed his brows and said " i would say you are a genius but your a blond."

I called my grandma and told her i was staying at Montana's. good thing it when to answering machine. i have to call Montana and tell her to keep the door unlocked. he whiled around to the other side of the street making a uturn.

It was 3 am and we talked until we almost fell asleep. He's told me about how he was beaten as a child and his mom left and his dad was a drunk. he showed me the scare on his leg from falling into a icy pond with skates. he talked about his child hood. how fucked up it was. i don't know how he made it through. he told me about how his ex girlfriend and how she mess around on him and done him wrong but he didn't tell me much about her. i told him about my life. my mom walking out an not hardly being able to support are family and my small paying job. he felt sorry but i was sick of people feeling sorry for me. i was over it. he told me he work at a construction site. he showed me his tattoos and man his body was mouth watering amazing. he made me jump when he grabbed form my arm. it was amazing it was nothing like i have ever felt before. not with nobody. after talking he paused and looked into my eyes and leaned in. i leaned in too.... we kissed and i felt sparks and joy and cold chills. it was amazing.
