We were at a bar. I was sitting at one table with two of my friends, Angela and Nina, while Rafael was sitting at a table with Angela's husband, Bill. "Go talk to Rafael. " Angela said. "Why?" I asked her. "Well, from what he's telling Bill, he likes you. And I can tell you like him." She replied. "Go." Nina whispered. "Fine." I groaned.
I walked over to his table, when Bill eyeballed me and went to talk to the girls. "Hey. " I said, smiling. "Hi." He replied. "Anyway, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go out sometime. Alone. Like a date." He added. "Yes. I will go on a date with you. " I replied. His smile got bigger than it usually was.
