Ed -

As I rolled over and checked my phone, Grahm leaped on my bed. I scratched behind his ears and responded to a text from Taylor. "Ed, are you coming to America any time soon?" "Why yes! I was thinking July 4th." I hit send and got out of bed. I put on a tee shirt and jeans and headed downstairs to eat a bowl of cereal. God I missed Taylor's cooking.

After breakfast I got in a cab and had the driver blindly drive around town. Taylor is such a good driver. Ed stop. He parked on the side of the street. As I walked inside the grocery store 22 came on the radio. This can't be a coincidence. I got some plums and potato chips and headed to the milk isle. Just at that moment someone recognized me and asked for a picture, and I couldn't resist. I was lonely. Then I went to the frozen pizza isle and checked out.

All day I walked around uselessly like a balloon. I missed Taylor so badly. Ed stop you're not even dating her. But you love her! "Shut up!" I screamed not realizing I had been standing at my door for fifteen minutes warring with myself. I walked inside and sat down on the couch after putting the groceries up. I turned on the TV and naturally MTV came on with the I Knew You Were Trouble video. I laughed like a maniac for no reason at all. Not seeing Taylor was driving me nuts. I checked my phone. She had called. The god damned phone had rung and I hadn't heard it. I slammed my head into my palm. What was I supposed to do?

I calked her back and we talked briefly about meeting up in Rhode Island for paddle boarding on the 4th. Then we hung up and I went to my room and aimlessly yelled at things. I needed her company.
