The silence as they walked to the park across the street was excrutiating.
"Mummy!" the voice was shrill and excited.
"Look, Logan, Thor's right. Maybe tomorrow we can, um..." Alex couldn't find the words to not ask her ex on a date.
"Um..yeah." he ran his hand through his hair. "You still live- thought so." the look on her face told her everything. It showed the reflection of their last fight. The one where they tried to decide what belonged to each of them. Alex ended up getting the house and Levon after he saw the broken look on her face, after a huge fight.
He walked off, his hands in his pockets and his head drooping slightly.
