The halls of the palace felt as if they were going on forever until you and the guards where positioned in front of a large metal door.

"This is the princesses's room." One of the guards informed you as it seemed odd the princes was behind such a door filled with deep scratches and large weapons.

"Princess Shirahoshi! A guest wishes to see you!" A different guard shouted to the princess behind the door.

"You may enter." A soft and gentle voice sounded to respond.

Behind the doors was the princess. When seeing her you froze, as if you couldn't believe your eyes. You where quickly drawn out of it when in the corner of your eye there was a flash of light on your body. You where even imagining things as you gazed at her.

"Princess Shirahoshi we present you with the Royal inventor's niece, (Y/N). She was granted permission to see you by none other than the king himself though we know not why."  One of the guards introduced you to the princess.

"You may go now." She ushered the guards to leave.

"We will come back in five minutes." The guards quickly left.

"It is an honor to meet you princess Shirahoshi, I am who they say I am. The niece to the new royal inventor, Parlor." The so called 'royal talk' was now influencing you as well.

"By what do I owe this pleasure to?"

"I just wanted to introduce myself and thought you might be a bit lonely here by yourself." You went a bit more casual afterwards, felling comfortable in her presence.

"How kind of you to think that way though I have been used to it for quite some time, only a little though." She admitted shyly, demonstrating little with one her hands.

"Then... I know it's probably abrupt, maybe rude I don't know... But would you like to be friends? I think we'll get along and fill the loneliness in ourselves. What do you say, Shirahoshi?" Something about her made you spit out that nonsense, something from the back of your mind you can't begin to understand. You did want to be friends, something just drew you to her.

She took a minute to process this. She simply smiled at your somewhat childish action but, nevertheless accepted your offer with a cute hum.

"They said I could only have five minutes though... Though I'm sure we will be able to talk more some other time though it's strange, only five minutes." You commented not really understanding only five minutes.

"Yes. Everyone is only allowed five minutes, a rule my father made to protect me." Shirahoshi mentioned to your curiousness. "I do admit it is kind of on the silly side."

"So Shirahoshi what exactly do you do in here, by yourself?" There didn't seem to be much to do.

"Not much really. Occasionally I get to talk to someone who comes by, though it's usually Megillo my shark. He's not here at the moment. Other then that I get to eat what they bring me, occasionally a family member drops by to talk as well. It's boring but don't get me wrong I'm thankful to be protected inside here." She raised her fists a bit more to act proud though she really was missing out on so much.

It was sad, really.

'One day, I'm sure everything will be fixed, you can be saved I'm sure of it. Someone has to step and and be brave. I'm just not the one Shirahoshi, I can't save your from the demons that lurk.' You thought and you couldn't admit how weak you were, she seemed to be fragile, and who would wouldn't be after being put through this kind of situation.

"One day, it has to get better Shirahoshi, it has to. If you're ever in need of someone to talk to I will come as soon as I can." Shirahoshi cried at the words you said, she was happy, so happy.

The guards came in, saying that the five minutes were up though once they saw her crying they immediately raised their weapons to you.

"Thank you, (Y/N)." She wiped away her own tears, smiling as if everything already was better.

The guards saw she was happy and lowered their weapons.

"We'll meet again, I promise." You stuck out your pinky finger as she soon leaned over to touch her finger on yours.

"Yes, and I'll look forward to it."

With that you left with a simple wave, overwhelmingly excited to see the girl once again.
