"He's here.", my mother smiled, giving me a thumbs up for my appearance. Taking one last look in the mirror, I head out onto my room and make my way downstairs.
Nathan is sitting at the couch, looking good as ever. He smiles when he saw me descending the stairs, I smile as well.
"You look good.", he said, adoration is evidence on his face. "Thank you. You look good yourself too.", I smile.
"Shall we?", he asked offering his hand for me. I giggled at the very ancient yet classy manner.
We arrive at a very secluded park, surrounded by trees and bushes. He lead me to the center of the park, a grand patio hall with dinner for two.
"Wow.", I'm at loss for words, this is beyond perfect. Amazing.
"You like it?", he asked. I turn to look at him and grin. "Love it."
He lead me on the table and our date started. We've eat delicious foods and the small orchestra playing melodious music is just perfect for this moment.
"May I have this dance?", Nathan asked, offering his hands which I gladly take.
The melodious sound of the orchestra fill our ears. It's serene and calming. I close my eyes, savoring this most calming moments of my life.
Nathan slowly lift my chin up and I look at him, he slowly lean into me but a picture of Louis fills my mind and I suddenly pulled away.
"I-I'm sorry.", I quickly apologize looking at him with a very sincere expression.
He looks offended, well who won't be? I'm being stupid leading him on and then pulling out when he's just about to kiss me.
"I know. You still love him don't you?", he ask. At loss for words, I just nod my head hoping that somehow, he'll understand.
"Let's get you home?", he ask, changing the topic. I nod my head and grab my clutch and follow him into the car.
The car ride went agonizingly slow, no one dared to say a word. The air is thick and awkward. I mess it up.
"See you.", Nathan bids goodbye once I'm on our doorstep. I smile at him and then went inside.
I strip off of my dress and put my pj's on. I flop down on my bed and close my eyes, exhaling deeply.
I mess it up. Nathan's a very great guy and I just can't put myself on dating him anymore. That phone call with Louis two months ago was the closure I needed, or so I thought it is.
I still can hear his voice breaking on my mind. After that phone call, I literally broke down on Susan's comfort. I spent one week just isolating myself in this room of mine and sobbing, crying.
And just as I thought, I could move on from Louis his angelic face needs to pop out on my head. And the moment's ruined.
My phone buzzed and I open the new text message.
From: Nathan
Good night El. x
I close my phone, I just can't put myself into this. I've never moved on from him and I wonder if I could ever move on from him.
Louis literally take my heart.
Sighing, I grab my phone and scroll through my gallery. Salty, sappy tears fills my face.
There's no closure that came between us, but I can't do this to myself. I just need to make myself happy or at least try to make myself happy.
Closing my phone, I try to put myself into sleep. And somehow, I fell asleep, Louis' voice filling the room.
The song he recorded just to make me smile, Fix You by Coldplay. It fills the four walls of my room and somehow, I felt serene and complete.
