Glimpse of the Future

Prologue

[VENOGME's POV]

I'm Light Venogme Corleone. At ang araw nato ang pinakamalas at pinakamasakit na araw sa buong buhay ko. The woman I love is about to be married, not to me but to guy who she loves with all her heart. D*mn if only she was not my cousin.

  " Light, let's go. Its time bro."  sabi ni Dark.

 " Mauna na kayo. I feel sick hearing those vows. Gusto ko munang mapag-isa."  sabi ni Light.

Sensing my mood, they went inside. Leaving me here alone. Nakikiramay ata ang langit sakin. As the melody from their wedding starts to ring in my ear, I noticed drops of water from my eyes. Letting go of the one you love for her happiness is death to my soul. I cried as the rain starts to pour.

   "Great, just how great this day is."  Light said sobbing.

   "E-excuse me. You'll get sick if you stay in the rain. Here have this umbrella."  the girl forced a smile.

Napansin ko na namumula at namumugto ang mata niya, kagagaling niya din bang umiyak? Sino naman ang iiyakan niya? There was pain in her eyes. Get a grip Light.

"Thanks but don't need it. I can manage. Can I ask you something?" Light said coldly.

"S-sure what is it?"  she asked.

"Why did you cry? I mean its a wedding. Why are you sad?" sabi ni Light

"Thats because the one I love is getting married." she said in a shaky voice.

"Is that so? Let's go inside." sabi ni Light.

Pumasok na kami sa loob. Pinagtinginan kami dahil mga basang basa kami. Ayaw ko pa naman ng attention. Mas uminit tuloy ulo ko. Lumapit sakin mga kabarkada ko, isa lang ang tanong nila who that chic was. As usual I ignored them. 

[AUTHOR's POV]

Natapos naman ang kasal na walang tumutol. Akalain niyo yun? Pumunta na sila sa reception. Nakikain lang kami ni Author R dun. BTW ako pala si Author J.

Back to story na. Epal ni Author R hahaha.

[ORIEL's POV]

Kung maibabalik ko lang ang panahon. I wished di na lang kami magkapatid. Ako nga pala si Oriel Ezia Nolasco at ang lalaking ikinakasal ngayon he is my brother, Glimp Kramer the man I loved for 17 years. Nagtataka ba kayo bat di kami magka-apelyido? Well my mom and his dad remarried so that makes him my brother not by blood though. Andito nga pala ko sa reception ng kasal nila, forcing a smile.

"This is boring."  sabi nung katabi ko.

Nilingon ko ang pinanggalingan ng boses and saw HIM. The guy from earlier. Yung gwapo at mukhang masungit. I guessed he was suprised to see me as well. Ang table kasi na kinabibilangan namin is for family members lang.

"What are you doing here?" sabay naming sabi.

Ako ang unang nakabawi. Nang magsasalita nako, may tinawag ang emcee.

"Let me call on the cousin of the bride. Mr. Light Venogme Corleone"

So his name is Light. I thought to myself but wait, did he say cousin? Oh crap Im in deep trouble.
