it was around 1 pm when i woke up today, tired and moody. i hadn't slept much last night, because i found myself in some sort of loop, i'd been watching mia bibby's videos all night, her voice had me mesmerized, every cover blew me off, they just got better each and every time. i found her to be extremely charming, i was definitely infatuated with an influencer.

"at what time do we leave?" i yelled loud enough for all the boys plus august hear me, we had been invited to a house party at eben's, it was kind of a last minute thing.

after ten minutes of arguing about why the rainbow does not have white in it, we finally left to eben's, it wasn't necessarily crowded when we got there, so i took it as an opportunity to get myself a drink without having to interact with anyone just yet.

but as soon as i walked though the kitchen door, i saw someone i was not expecting to see at all. there she was, lovely as per usual, the one and only mia bibby. i couldn't help but almost gasp at her presence, she truly had me on a trance.

"hi... jack, right?" she greeted, i was surprised she even knew my name.

"yeah, um, mia, right?" i whispered, i was trying hard to keep my cool, but it was hard to do so when she was standing right in front of me.

"yeah! it's a pleasure to meet you!" she smiled "eben talks about you guys a lot! you're all quite talented"

"does this mean that you've listened to our stuff?did you like it?" i inquired, i couldn't figure out if i was blushing, but i was most definitely flustered.

"i have! huge fan to be honest, i'm a sucker for boybands" she laughed, god what a gorgeous laugh.

"shit man, it's an honor, i feel special" i chuckled, i was most definitely blushing now.

"i'm not king charles, jack, i'm not all that" she giggled, i couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed, was i too straightforward?

"i mean, your music is definitely a huge part of my life, it's part of the reason why i'm here now" i responded "but like, not in a creepy way"

"i quite like you jack, it's a shame eben hasn't introduced us before" she smiled and my legs felt like jello "i have to make a call now, it's been a genuine pleasure to have met you, i'll see you around?"

"likewise mia, you'll definitely see more of me" i winked, her cheeks were tinted a slight rosy color, i couldn't believe i found the confidence to say that, but i wasn't complaining.

as she walked out the kitchen, i started wondering why eben truly had never introduced us, she seemed  to have enjoyed the short conversation and all i wanted was to talk to her again.
