"Run run run!" I screamed to Jared from behind the store. "The cops! Run" I screamed one more time to get a full sense that he heard me. Headlights pierced the side of my eyes.
"Don't move" A police officer says. I can feel the gun pointing at me so I couldn't dare to take one move. Jared was gone and so was Matt. I was the only convicted one.
"Your under arrest!" The cop screamed brushing a wind behind my back as he ran over. He took my arms without a fight and cuffed them together.
He walked me the his car and plopped me in the back. I kinda laughed. Thinking when was the last time I was in the back of a cop car.
It was last week, my mom was doing some drugs with me on the side of the rode. We both got arrested but my mom told them that she forced me. That's why I'm not behind a jail cell today. I'm living alone now. The cops don't know that. Ever since they took my mom in I'm all alone. But this time, this very time, I have a feeling they do now.
They took me into court right away, not even to the death hall. I talked to a few lawyers. They had explained to me what was going on. Then I was gone.
"This young lady, by the name of Anissa Kailin Rose Miller, is now without her parents. She has two choices of stay. Either foster care, or management in England." The judge had announced the case.
"Can I have some opinions?" The judge asked. Both lawyers raised their books. "We believe management is the best choice for this young lady" The one lawyer stated. "We think this because of her drug use. If she is in foster, most parents won't take drug addicts, however in the management, so much will be going on then everything could change." The next lawyer says.
The judge slams down on the table. "Case closed." Then she gets up and walks off.
