Craig

Craig's day starts as most days usually do. The rising of the sun, the waft of the cold breeze creeping through an open window or crack in a door, the open curtains fluttering above the heater in his room, the beautiful sunlight streaming in through the smudged, dirty windows.

REH REH REH REH

Oh, and the painfully loud and annoying alarm clock. Craig groans and slams his fist down on the unbearable noisemaker, silencing it until tomorrow.

He opens his eyes, yawns and sits up in his bed to stretch. He swings his legs over the side of his mattress and places his bare feet on the bedroom floor. The screen on his phone lights up and he smiles when he sees the message notification on it.

Craig grabs his phone and walks over to the light switch, flipping it on

and squinting at the newly born light, then walking over to his messy unmade bed, plopping down on it and opening the notification.

Tweek: Morning Craig, have a good sleep? Did you have any nightmares? Do you need someone to talk to? I'm not good at giving advice..!! Talk to someone else!!

....

Tweek: WAIT!! Never mind!! Talk to me! What's wrong?? Please answer!

...

Tweek: Sorry Idk what that was all about...

The morning messages from Tweek made Craig laugh quietly to himself. He loved it when Tweek asked him how he was doing or worried about him. It was adorable and the highest point of Craig's day, even though his day had just started.

Craig: no nightmares. I'm alright.

Craig was waiting for Tweek to reply but then he saw the time at the top of his screen.

8:32

"Shit!" Craig shot up out of his bed and shoved his phone into his backpack...and then took it back out.

Craig: see you at school

He shoves his phone back into his bag and throws on his dark blue chullo and blue hoodie overtop of his pajamas, which in his case are just black sweatpants and a plain yellow t-shirt.

When was the last time he wore anything else? He makes a mental note to buy new clothes, scoops up his backpack and speeds out of his room, down the stairs and out the door.

The first thing that hits him is the early morning cold that occupies the morning hours in South Park. The first thing that gets cold on his body is his nose since it's one of the only areas of skin left exposed to the bitterness of the day, minus the rest of his face. He does manage to suck it up though. He isn't exactly what anyone would call a pussy, but he would admit this cold was a bit much.

While running to school he didn't care to take even a glance at his surroundings, except when crossing the road. The streets were nearly empty except for the occasional straggler or a car or two, since most of the kids that usually walk to school or their bus stop, had already done so earlier.

As Craig saw the school growing nearer and nearer with every hasty step he made, he noticed someone standing at the steps of the school. the figure fiddling with the lid of their thermos taking the occasional sip. craig slows his pace to a jog and cups his hands around his mouth.

"Hey tweekers!" he yells, catching the attention of the twitchy blond. Tweek jumps and looks up, startled by the loud noise. He was clearly too distracted to notice Craig was there until he broke him out of his trance.

"Oh, h-hey Craig!" Tweek greeted, slightly louder than usual since Craig was still too far to be able to hear him with his regular voice.

Craig walks over beside Tweek and pushes open the front door for him. When they enter the school some heads turn to see who came in but then turned back around and go back to doing whatever was previously occupying their time.

As they walked down the hall towards where their lockers were, a couple of girls looked over to them and tried their hardest to hold back a giggle. Some of the guys saw them and didn't try quite as hard to conceal their laughter.

"Not this shit again," Craig says, mostly to himself, but loud enough for Tweek to hear. Tweek nods in agreement and sighs, but lets a small smile slip onto his face.

The day carried on as it usually would, and by lunch, Craig was already done with the teachers and almost every student that wasn't a select three or four that Craig actually tolerated.

And then there was Tweek of course, despite the constant teasing and weird looks others provided when they hung out, they remained the closest.

Craig took his time getting to the cafeteria so when he got there he would actually be able to get around the other students in the crowded eating area.

When he got to the cafeteria there was the familiar sound of impossible-to-make-out chatter soon followed by, as he got closer, the terrible smell of teens that had just participated in gym class.

Craig made his way to the table he, Tweek, Clyde, Token, and Jimmy usually sat at.

"Hi," Craig said quietly as he sat down in his usual seat next to Tweek, across from Clyde who sat next to Token.

"Hi." tweek replied first. in his hands was the same thermos from this morning which was nearly empty by now.

Token just sat, silently picking at his food with a plastic fork. He was poking around in some weird fancy shit that no ones ever heard of.

"Hey, Craig," Clyde said without looking up, studying his lunch carefully. He was staring intently at the sloppy joe the school cafeteria had provided to him since he hadn't felt like making his lunch that day. His eyes were squinted and he was sitting on his hands, leaning close to the meaty monstrosity.

"Where's Jimmy?" Craig asked while giving Clyde a weird look.

"With his girlfriend," Token replied, still stabbing away at his lunch.

No one said anything after that so Craig brought his attention back to Clyde.

"He's been doing that for a good 8 minutes now," Tweek whispered as he leaned slightly towards Craig just to make sure he would hear him. Craig narrowed his eyes at Clyde like he was a psychopath.

"What the fuck are you staring at?" Craig asked the immature brunet who was still super focused on the mess on his food tray.

Clyde looked up for a moment only to make sure Craig wasn't seriously mad at him before looking at his food again, which was probably really soggy by now.

"I am like, 99.9% sure my food is poisoned," Clyde spoke slowly and quietly as if he was telling a super important secret.

Token picked at his food some more and then dropped his fork suddenly and rubbed his temples sighing. "Clyde, no..just..no."

"Don't just shit all over my theory Token! Hear me out."

As Clyde rambled on and on about god knows what, Craig received a text message from someone.

Tweek: is this as boring to you as it is to me?

Tweek: do you wanna..? y' know...

Craig: do you even need to ask?

Craig put his phone back in his pocket and grabbed Tweek's hand, leading him towards the cafeteria doors.

On their way out there were whispers being handed out from every corner of the room.

"fags"

"are they gonna go fuck?"

"look! the boyfriends are gonna go make out!"

"get a room"

Craig didn't look back to any of them. He just flipped them off as he leads Tweek outside the crowded room.

And as he was being pulled behind Craig out the door, Tweek did the same.
