~Toby~
I was playing catch with Jeff while Clocky sat on porch steps and watched. Today seemed to be such a nice day. It was nice and cool as relaxing winds blew. I honestly had no idea on how I got Jeff to even play catch with me. Maybe it was because he didn't want me to tell Slender where he's been going to at night and after missions. "Toby, don't throw it over my fucking head!" Jeff caught the ball with frustration and threw it roughly. The ball slammed into my face and I fell backwards. I could hear Clocky giggle at me. Soon enough, she ran to me. She kneeled down into the crunchy leaves on the ground. "Jeff calm down." She told him sternly. Sometimes he had to be told that because Jeff isn't always the...um, calmest. "Whatever." He walked back into the mansion and grumbled under his breath. "You okay?" She held my head in her lap and I watched as her green eye twinkle. "Y-yeah." I answered her with a flustered expression. God she was just so beautiful to me. I felt so comfortable as she cradled my head in her lap. The way she looks at me...It makes me want to do anything for her, even stop killing. Aside from my thoughts, I had one more thing to accomplish this time. Ok Toby, here's your chance. "Hey Clocky?" I piped up shyly. She nodded, completely ignoring the fact that I used my nickname for her outloud. "D-do you wanna h-hang out sometimes?" I watched her facial expression change from confusion to soft smiling. "Sure."
...
HOLY FUCKING ASS CRACKERS! I DID IT! I DID IT AND SHE SAID YEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!! WHOOOOO!!!...
"Toby? Uhhhh, you okay?" She asked me in confusion. I quickly sat up and helped her to stand. "Im fine." We wiped the dead leaves off our asses and walked into the mansion. "So, what do we do now?" I asked her awkwardly. She looked at me in confusion, and perhaps I was supposd to be the one to actually choose this. "I don't know. What do we do?" she asked me with a smile. I couldn't answer because I was interupted. I heard someone tsk tsk tsk from behind me. Jeff had come back downstairs and listened as Clocky and I were talking. I growled and approached him. I pushed into his chest but he never faltered. "So you're finally dating?" He teased me. I blushed at his jokes. "No, I just...it's, umm...We're just hanging as friends." I defended us. Jeff watched in speculation until he smiled a little more. "Well why don't you guys come hang with me?" He offered in a teasing tone. I waited, unsure of how to escape this one. "Welllllllllll...ok." I don't know what I agreed to but me and Clocky were apparently in it together.
****************
I walked down the street (which was still wet from rain) with Clocky on one side and Jeff on the other. I really can't figure out if me and Clocky are really a thing or not. One minute we are, and the next minute we're just hanging out as friends. This is freaking confusing!
I noticed Clocky as blood dripped from her gorgeous body. The wind had picked up and whipped her hair around for a second. "You two, uhhhhh...wait here." Jeff said rather nervously and bolted off towards a familiar house. Wait a minute, didn't I kill someone there a few nights ago? "Hang on Nat." I patted Clocky's shoulder and rushed off after Jeff. Clocky growled and attempted to punch me on the shoulder, but barely missed as I jolted off. "Don't fucking call me that!"
I love getting on her nerves. I laughed and continued to follow Jeff's trail. I entered the house behind him silently and crept upstairs. I heard talking from one of the rooms and peeked in to see Jeff sitting on the bed across from Christian. That's right! I forgot this was her house.I mentally face palmed myself and listened in on their conversation. "So how did you wash it out?" Jeff asked her. She giggled and touched his arm lightly. "Well, cold water washes blood away much better than hot water." He chuckled and hugged her tightly. "I can't stay tonight because my friends are outside so let's-" "Well, well, well. Jeffrey has a little secret does he?" I interupted their conversation. I enjoy picking on him so much! I never truly get to do this often at all! "I didn't know she was the one doing your laundry for you Jeffy." I teased him. Jeff growled roughly and pulled me by my wrist to the outside of the house. "Listen to me Rogers, you don't breath a fucking word of this to anyone INCLUDING SLERDERMAN. Got that?" He pushed me roughly into a tree. "Why, don't you want others to know about your little girlfriend though?" I teased him some more. "She's like a sister to me. We went to kindergarten together and she's the only one who never picked on me." He replied with an explanation. Wait...does that mean me and Jeff went to the same school? I sighed and rolled my eyes in defeat. I guess I'll have to find something else to blackmail him with. "Alright fine, but no more teasing me and Clocky about being together." I crossed my arms together in defiance. The bushes rustled behind us and broke our focus for a second. Jeff quickly let me go. "Ok fine." He stepped away just as Clockwork came out from the brush."Can we go now?" She asked in a bored tone. I could tell she was growing bored with walking around and finding no victims whatsoever. I nodded and we all left for home.Tonight has been an interesting night. But that wasn't the high point of everything in my opinion. No...the high point came to me later that night while I was in my room relaxing. I was laying down and staring up at my bedroom ceiling. Not much else could be heard aside from the faint beeping of Ben playing video games late at night like usual. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door so I got up to answer it. As soon as I pulled the door open, Clocky's beauty graced me immediately. "Hi Toby...May I come in? There's something I've been wanting to talk to you about." She shyly moved some chocolate brown hair behind her ear. My God she was just too damn stunning...AND SHE WANTED TO TALK TO ME! I nodded quickly and moved aside so that she could enter the room. She came inside and looked around before sitting on my bed. This was her very first time coming in my room after all of the time she had been here. I hoped she wasn't weirded out by all my band posters and the childish model airplanes I had hanging from the ceiling. She smiled up at me and patted her hand on the matress beside her. I quickly made my way over to her and took the seat she had offered. She took a deep breath and finally said the words I had been waiting to hear. "Toby, you're actually pretty interesting to me since I'd come here. Now don't get the wrong idea...you're still pretty annoying too. But...I actually really like you. In fact, I don't think I've ever really felt for someone the way that I do for you. You've got something about you that draws me forward. I guess what I'm trying to say is...wanna hang out sometimes?" She finished and waited for me to reply. My mouth was wide opened and I was so excited that I'm sure anyone could see my heat beating out of my chest. "Clocky...Um as what?" I asked to confirm what I was hearing actually was her asking me out. She chuckled and looked into my eyes. "As boyfriend and girlfriend I guess." I quickly hugged her and nodded. "YES, ABSOLUTELY!!! I was twitching wildly and her clock was ticking quickly. I couldn't believe someone like me could have ever had a stroke of luck come like this...even after I believed only bad happened to me. Perhaps it was time to be more optimistic after all.
