HEAVEN SENT

chapter 7

My phone buzzed indicating an incoming text massage.Who might that be at this hour of the night,it was nine 21:38.Farthermore I really hate when distructed from watching a nice horror movie.My room wasn't big,it was accomodated by a six by six bed,a single set of sofa,a small coffee table and a shelf full of novels.Two big windows sorrounded it.I flipped open my phone to read the text.
"I miss you Josse."glared back at me.

ME: Stellha!?

STELLAH: Yes#

ME: Hi honey,still awake?

STELLAH: I can't sleep.

ME: Why?

STELLAH: I miss you.

ME: I miss you more
darling.

STELLAH: I miss your hug.

ME: I miss your cute smile.

STELLAH: You have the most
kissable lips
my Josse.

ME: Did it hurt.

STELLAH: Thanks for not trying
to eat me.

ME: You are the sweetest Stellah
darling.

STELLAH: Come on,stop being
so cute.

ME: I have a jar of pickles,and
am not strong
enough,can you come over
and help me open it.

There was along pause,then...

STELLAH: I'll be there in ten
minutes.

I was shocked,I didn't believe at that very moment Stellah might be already on her way to my home.I marely jocked when I suggested her coming over,I guess she never liked jockes.
I stood and grabbed the remote control and paused the movie,I passed about the room settling everything neatly and in order.Satisfied,I settled back on the sofa.It surprised me,all this time of my obsession to Stellah,whenever I thought of her,it was her only.I never thought of her angaged or about Mark.Only her cute face drifted in my mind.
Beams of light illuminated the room through one of the big windows.There was a hum of a motor machine,then opening and closing of a car door.I heard her say somthing to the driver I couldn't hear,then I heard the vehicle leave.I took a deep breath before exitment feeling my body.I did not know why I loved seeng her or loved when she was close.I took a one quick glance around the room then crossed the room to open the door.My heart skipped a beat when I saw her.She was in full dress that ended just above her kneels.Her black hair was tied in a ponytail,her feet were covered in small dol shoes matching the red dress.She was very innocent and almost like a school girl,plus her tiny dimples and beautiful smile,she was breath taking.
"Hey beib."I said hugging her small body to myself.She smell so wonderful and rich.I deliberatly planted a very warm pec on her neck then released her."Come in."
"Thanks,but can we take a walk darling?"She said shyly.
"Oh,give me a minute."I replied returning into the room.I quickly grabbed the brown shirt from a hung and slipped it on,sat on the bed to wear my white rubber shoes.I stepped out.
We walked slowly side by side.Tanga town isn't big,you could cover it on foot in a day,but this time of the night,it was as busy as ever.There was a constant cool breez blowing from the Indian ocean.I felt a hand slip under my arm and she rested her head against my shoulder.
"Stellah."
"Mmh."
"What are you thinking about?"
She lifted her head to search my eyes in the dark and rested her head back on my shoulder.
"I am thinking about you."she said.
"What about me?"
"How you came to mean so much to me in a few days."Her voice was so soft and sweet,you could think she was singing."From the moment I saw you,I wanted to be close to you all the time,and when I don't see you,I almost go mad.The moment I looked in your eyes Joseph,I knew you were made for me"
I was very quiet listening to such romantic soothing words coming from a very gorgeous woman with a voice so sweet.I was very moved and all I wanted to do was to tell her that I loved her so much,but I felt those words could not carry the weight of love I had for her.
I stopped and held her head between my hands,I connected my lips with her's.I poured all the love I had for her into this kiss,she was so sweet and so addictive.I looked at her deep in the eyes and I saw love for me,so much love that I could not see its bounderies,it stretched enormously in all directions endlessly.
"You are my heaven sent darling."I said softly very close to her face."Sent to only me,it is my responsibility to love you.I love you babie."
"I love you too my Josse."She whispered as our lips re-united once more.I held her hand and we resumed walking.
"Tell me your hobbies honey."I asked as we past between rows of flowers at Forodhani garden.Instantly she was cheerful.
"I love novels,I realy love reading.I love listening to music,especialy RnB,I love movies-"
"And singing."I cut.
"Oh yeah,how did you know?"she asked surprised.
"Because you have the sweetest voice honey,and we have exerctly the same hobbies."I said laughing ."Who is your favourite writer."
"They are many but I'd go for Wilber Smith as my number one."
"What!?"
"What!Don't say he is your favourite too."She said pointing an index finger at my nose.
"Seriously darling,yes,he is actually my number one.Ever read his book Sparrow Falls?"I asked expecting this time that we had a difference.
"Yes I have.its a masterpiece."
"Really!?"I asked for the first time aware of how we had alot in common.
"Yeah,you remember the conversation between Mark and Storm when he was delivering her car?"
"Good morning,Miss Courtney,I have brought your new cadillac,and we all of us at Natal motors wish you much joy and enjoyment."I said immitating Marks thick voice.
"Where are the keys?"Stellah said in a voice that was surpposed to be Storm's.
"They are in the car."
"Get them"She said pretending to look serious.
"Certainly,Miss Courtney,of course I'll get them,just as soon as you say please."I said laughing.
"where are you going."she asked a smile on her face.
"Back to town."
"Thats my car."
"They'll send somebody else up with it,Miss Courtney,I'm used to dealing with ladies."
"My father will have you fired."She said happily slipping a hand around my waist.
"Yes,he probably will."I concluded planting a kiss on the side of her head.
"You could make a very good actor."she said laughing.I could see she was realy happy.Maybe it was a feeling that maybe once in her life she has met someone whom shared the same world.
"I can,if only you could be my juliet."I said nugging her side.By now we had reached the beach at Tanga Ports Authority(TPA).We wore off our shoes holding them in our hands as we walked on the beach feeling the sand crunch beneath our feet.It seemed we were the only persons in the whole universe,Adam and Eve.She was very cute in the moonlight like an angel flying in the clouds
"Lets swim."She suddenly said dropping her dol shoes on the sad and rising her dress to her head and she was only in a top and a pair of pants.I followed her gesture,I unbuttoned my shirt,kicked off my trousers and we ran giggling into the waters.
