Her soft voice echoes through my ears while the wind blows softly sending her short blond curls into her face. Her smile and beautiful laugh engraved into my mind. Grey eyes look up at me as I am caught up in her beauty. "Emile..." I hear Lilly say my name with a concerned look on her face. "Are you alright?" She asks as if I looked upset. "I am. I just couldn't help think about how lovely you are today" I say smiling knowing she exactly how she will react. She starts blushing "jeez" and then continues to punch me playfully in the stomach. "You shouldn't embarrass a girl who could beat you up" she laughs again. I wrap my arm around her waist and kiss her on the forehead. "Like you would." She makes a fake pouty face at me "yeah, but I could!" Then looks Away knowing fully that she would not actually be able to.

We continue to walk down the pathway as we joke around and talk. "Where are we going anyways?" She looks at me with a curious expression. "We are almost there. It's just beyond these trees." As we reach the end of the path her eyes go wide in surprise at the simple park in front of us. She looks at me confused "We went through all that trouble just to find a park?" I smirk "Yep!" She looks at me dumbfounded but then laughs hysterically only managing to say "your such a jerk." I made her walk 5 miles with me to find a park. I'm surprised she had this kind of reaction. Lilly was usually more stubborn and violent than that but I guess she is just happy to be able to spend time with me.

We both work in customer service positions for different retail stores but I'm going to school to become a police officer in the process while she runs her own business online to get some extra income so we don't actually get that much time together anymore. We also don't live together yet but we are planning on it in the nearby future. I wonder when she is going to get tired of everything and just quit being as she hates working there.

Thud! Lilly and I reach a park bench and she sits on it almost immediately. "I'm exhausted" she whines as she stretches her arms above her head. "I know. Don't worry, we don't have to walk the same way back though because there is a different trail that's only about half a mile long". She looks so frustrated with me after I told her that. I don't blame her, if she did that to me I would be pretty upset too. If I didn't do that though, we would have probably only been here maybe 20 minutes and we wouldn't be able to actually spend much time together. She sighs and looks around. "This place is beautiful, even if I am exhausted I'm glad we came" she said pulling a can of her favorite coffee from her bag then hands me one as well.

"So why did you choose this place for today Emile?" I was looking at the lake sparkling in almost a purple hue. "I heard this place has a magical lake that gives people good luck and happiness. I figured it would be a nice place to visit while we are here in Kinto since your obsessed with all that superstition and supernatural stuff". I love making fun of her and watching her react to everything. She is probably the funniest person I know, and not on purpose either. Her personality is probably the most wonderful, and confusing thing about her.

Lillys personality is full of contradictions. She is an optimist towards other people and a pessimist towards herself. She is the lazy type yet she loves adventure and exploring new places. She is interested in politics of the past but not of the politics now. She loves working with people yet being around people seems to drain all her energy. She even believes everyone is equal but doesn't believe that people are treated equal. I guess the best way to describe her is just... Complicated.

I stand up and take Lilly's hand, "Let's go over to the dock over there and sit near the water". She stands up and follows while saying "Okay, just be careful not to fall in". Her and I sat on the dock and she and I just sat there enjoying each others company in complete silence. This is nice. Her and I stayed there for probably thirty minutes before we said anything. Lilly broke the silence with "It looks like it's going to rain" I nodded in agreement. "We should probably take cover somewhere just in case" She stood up and offered me her hand then helped me up. We were about to walk away when we heard a strange noise come from the water Lilly was the first to turn around and try to figure out what it was but by the time I managed to turn around it was too late.
