Giant Acrylic Painting Of 9 Pets!

*in a thick Italian accent*
"It's a biga one!" XD

This painting acrylic on canvas and is 46x38 inches in both width and height! (the water bottle in the photo above is for scale)

I'm not even sure how many hours I put into this, but I do know that it took a good many to paint all those doggos! Even pulled an all nighter to get it finished as the project was due the next day.

The caffeine flowed strongly through my veins that night.
And when caffeine failed to keep me awake, I was revived only by the sassy spunk of the one and only Edward Avila. XD (I don't even wear make up I just watch him because he's awesome and funny 😂❤)

I really learned a lot throughout painting this because I had never painted an animal in realism before, but I think they came out pretty good! My client was very happy! She even ordered three more commissions, bless her heart! ❤ ;u;

Now you may be thinking, man...this lady has a lot of pets!
But, this is actually a portrait of all of her and her husbands babies that had become a part of their family both past and present. Meaning, that some of those little paws no longer walk this earth anymore. <\3
So this piece meant a great deal to her...she actually cried when she saw it and gave me a big hug. (T^T)

I felt so honored to be able to paint something that could mean so much to someone...it really gave me new eyes for what art is capable of doing for people and how it can leave a big emotional impact. <3

I worked on this on and off for a few months and finally finished it end of last December.

As an update I am now currently working on several projects including illustrating a children's book, a couple of portrait commissions and several personal projects. (And also a soon-to-be-finished OC request. )
And also building videos for my also soon-to-be YouTube channel. o(≧∇≦o) So yes! Lot's of art to come in the near future! :D
