The Foster System. It's a really shitty place for a child to be.
I didnt get to bring any of my stuff, besides the stuff I had on my back.
You have monitored visitations with your biological family once or twice a week for an hour.
Some stranger picks you up and takes you home with them.
It's really scary actually. Like, you don't know if that place will be your forever home or if your parents will get better and take you back.
One day your foster family could call your social worker and be like "I don't want this child, please take it away"(that happened in my first foster home)
You're not allowed to post any pictures, nor have a phone.
You have no freedom. And if you don't like the foster home, you don't really have a say. Unless they are abusive, you just have to deal with it.
I was in the system. I got out. I am lucky enough to have a place to call home. If any of you ever need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me for advice. Literally anything guys.
