So I'm dealing with some mental stuff and I started writing. This came out. Enjoy?
TRIGGER WARNING: self harm and body image
Who remembers when pencil sharpeners were only for sharpening pencils ?
When box cutters were only meant for opening boxes?
When safety pins were only used for safe reasons?
Who remembers when we didn't have to hide behind long sleeves and long pants because when we were kids there was nothing to hide.
Who remembers when we were kids and we didn't get judged based on the clothes we wore or how big or how tiny we were?
Because as kids, we didn't care about any of that. All we cared about was if you liked to play.
When we were kids, we didn't think about box cutters and pencil sharpeners.
We thought about toys and what was for dinner.
We thought about who we were going to play with at recess.
