The First Sight

Part 1: The escape

Eleven kept running without looking back. She was done with this place and she was done with Papa's tests. She made it to the fence where she saw a small tunnel. She squeezed herself into it and crawled through, making it past the fences bordering the lab. She looked back at the lab then walked far through the forest. She saw a building, and she knew it was a food place. She looked up at the sign. It read "Benny's Burgers, Family owned and operated." She went through the back doors and into the kitchen where a bowl of fries sat on the counter. She immediately started looking around then she grabbed some fries and ate them. She then looked up and saw Benny, the owner of the restaurant. He saw her and said, "Hey boy! Where do you think you're going? Get back here!" and he went into the kitchen after her. She started to run out the back doors when he caught her and he said, "Think you can steal from me boy--" then he paused. He realized this wasn't a boy, but a young girl who looked like she was in trouble. He sat her at a table and gave her some more food. "Alright I've got some questions. First off...What is your name?" he asked patiently. Eleven looked at him while she ate, but she kept silent. "I said what is your name?" Benny said growing impatient at Eleven's silence. He flipped her arm over revealing her numbers on her wrist. "What's that mean?" He asked her and pointed to the numbers 011. Eleven drew her arm back angrily. Benny slid the food towards him and Eleven gave him an angry look. "Tell me what it means and you'll get your food back." He said. Eleven pointed to herself. "wait..Are you saying that's your name?" he asked. Eleven nodded and Benny slid the food back over to Eleven. He stood up and went to his phone in the kitchen. He called someone he thought was from the Child Care Agency, but it wasn't and it was someone from the lab. The fan groaned and clattered in the corner, annoying Eleven. She used her mind to stop it, then resumed eating. ***Time skip**** Hours later the woman from the lab showed up. It was past closing hours by now. "Hi! I'm from the Child Care Agency you called?" She said never looking away from Benny. Benny nodded and smiled politely. "yes come on in. " he said and led her in. "So where is she?" the woman asked almost impatiently. "She's just in the kitchen--" he said turning around when he saw the woman had a silenced gun pointed at him. The woman shot Benny and then more guards from the lab flooded the building. Eleven panicked and ran towards the back doors but she was blocked. She used her mind to to attack the men who blocked her way and she ran out the doors and into the forest. By now it started to rain heavily. She ran to the forest without looking back. She then stepped on a twig and a group of boys who had been patrolling the forest looking for their friend turned to her. After a while the boys took her to Mike's house and they gave her a towel to dry off. Mike grabbed some clothes and handed them to her. "Here...Uhm...For something dry to change into." Eleven took the clothes and sat them beside her. She started to lift the shirt she had on when all the boys exclaimed. "OH SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT NO OH MY GOD." Dustin screamed and turned the other way. Lucas and Will turned away too, but Mike grabbed Eleven's arm. "u-uhm no...G-go change in there..I-in private." He said and pointed to the bathroom. Eleven took the towel and clothes then went to the bathroom. Mike started to close the door when Eleven put her hand on the door to stop him. "No." She said. "Oh...You don't want it closed?" he asked. Eleven shook her head no. Mike closed the door but left a crack. "Is this good? it's not closed fully just a little." He said. Eleven nodded in approval.
