Pink Panda ~
Six months later, I was now in a place in which I can't remember what it was called, but I know it wasn't too far from London. I didn't have a choice, but to move here.
I had to introduce myself to every house on three streets. The one that I was living on, the one on the other side of my street and the one in front of that one from where I was. I still don't know why, but my doctor made me. I was currently standing at the last house on the street. My doctor also told me there was a ten percent chance that I would see Fearless Vampire Killers, but then again, he has left me on my own on this last house. Maybe he knows something I don't? So far, I haven't seen Fearless Vampire Killers. If there's a ten percent chance of seeing them, then why did he leave me here on my own? I thought as the door opened and saw who it was. ................................
Luke ~
I opened the door, not really expecting anyone round today, when I saw a girl standing there. A smile spread across her face. "Hi, I just moved in a couple of streets from here and I just wanted to say hi," she said holding out her hand.
Had she done this before? I thought as I guessed that she might be around sixteen and eighteen years old. She had long pink and black hair, black skinny jeans, and a grey tank top with some design on it, a black sleeveless cardigan and black high heeled boots. "Um, hi," I said, shaking her hand.
"Who is it, Luke?" Kier called from the living room.
"Sorry, what's your name?" I asked the girl.
"Some of my friends call me Pink Panda," she replied.
"Interesting name," I told her. "I'll be right back." The girl nodded and I put my head round the door. "She has the nickname Pink Panda," I told the guys. "She's tiny, so she might be older than she actually looks and she's mostly wearing black."
"What's her actual name?" Drew asked.
"She didn't say; all she said was that her friends call her Pink Panda."
"Let her in, so we can all meet her," Kier told me.
I went to the front door where the girl was waiting. "Um, come on in," she walked in, and I shut the door behind her. I showed her into the living room and Kier was the first one to look up.
"Shit, you are tiny," he said, "and pretty."
Laurence, Drew and Shane all looked up – in that order. Laurence's eyes widened a little when he saw her.
"Can I ask; how old are you?" Kier asked her.
"I'm twenty-one," she replied.
"Bloody hell, you look sixteen," said Drew.
"I was about to say the same thing," Kier stated.
"Yeah, I get that a lot," she said. "The youngest I've been told I look is eleven, but I was about sixteen."
"Shit, you're tiny for your age," Kier said.
"I've always have been, but my Nan says to take it as a compliment because most of the time I can get away with a child's ticket on the bus."
"Okay, sorry to interrupt," I'd cut in, "but let me introduce us. One of two who has not said a word since you stepping in through the door is Laurence, the other is sitting on the other end of the room, glued to his guitar, is Shane. The one sitting next to him is Drew, the one next to Laurence is Kier and finally, I am Luke. You can take a seat where ever you want, there's plenty around."
"Thank you," she said and she went to sit between Kier and Laurence.
"Also, as I'm still on my feet, would anyone like tea or coffee?" Everyone asked for what they wanted, Pink Panda asked for tea. "Do have milk and sugar?"
"Yes, and two sugars please," she replied.
"I'll come and help you," Kier said as he got off the sofa.
We went into the kitchen to boil the kettle and Kier took out six cups. Once we had the drinks, Kier helped me carry the cups into the living room. I handed pink Panda hers and she quietly said thank you.
I sat down in the armchair, Drew was still sitting next to Shane, but leaning forward, interested in the conversation. Shane was joining too every now and again, and stopped practising his guitar for a while. Laurence and Kier sat on either side of Pink Panda. I noticed that her right leg was shaking. Was she nervous or something? I thought.
An hour or so later, Pink Panda left and Kier asked, "So, what does everyone think of the new girl, Pink Panda?"
"She's really shy," said Shane.
"Yes, but she does have Asperger's," Kier reminded him.
Shane nodded.
"She's smart and quite funny!" Drew replied.
"Well, she's tiny and way smaller than Drew," Kier said.
"She's different," I said.
We all looked at Laurence, waiting for him to say something, until Kier nudged him. "I think she's lovely," Laurence commented. .......................
