'And just like that...'

'Everything changed...'

'At that terrible moment, in our hearts, we knew...'

'Home was pen...'

'Humanity? Cattle...'

Everyone in Shinganshina District looked up in shock and horror. There stood a, at least, 50 meter titan that looked like it was completely muscle. No one could do anything. No one could move. All they could do was stare.

Meanwhile, deep in the forest on the outside of the walls, the Scout Regiment was riding through the rain on horseback.

"The moment of truth people!" Called the squad leader. "It's all us! Either we secure this ground as humanity's first stronghold beyond the wall, or we die!"

As they listened to the squad leader, a man named Gray called out as he looked up. "Target approaching!"

In front of the group was about a 12 meters high humanoid creature lumbering about. It was a Titan.

The squad leader flung his arm out as a signal as he called out. "Split into five groups! Group 1 will act as the bait! All squadrons! Engage Omni-Directional Mobility Gear!!"

The soldiers pulled what kind of looked like the triggers of guns from their side and pressed the triggers in a certain order, causing wires with hooks to shout out from a contraption that was strapped to them. They hooked into the trees and caused the soldiers to fly off the backs of their horse.

They flew around the monstrous thing standing there in the forest while they tried to determine what to do.

"Hit it from every angle!" Called the squad leader.

Suddenly, one of the soldiers pulled his blades from his gear and swung behind the Titan, preparing to hit the nape of its neck, it's weak spot. "For my brothers...for humanity!!" The soldier called as he swung down and hit the nape of it neck.

A little later, Laxus Jager was startled awake from his nightmare as he laid in the grass. He was sweating and he was breathing heavily from the shock of being scared. As he calmed down a little bit, he focused on the girl hovering above him.

It was his adopted sister, Mirajane. She had a slightly worried look on her face as she looked at him. Around her neck that draped down along with her white hair was a red scarf.

"Mirajane, hey..." He said gently, still kind of dazed by his sudden startling awake.

"We should get back." She said softly as she kneeled next to him.

"Where are we exactly?" He asked, looking around from his spot on the ground.

"Try asking me again when you're awake." She said as she stood up, laughing a little bit.

"I'm up, I just...I don't know. It's just like the dream I had was going on forever." Laxus said, sitting up and setting his hand on his forehead. "It's gone now. What was it about...?

MIrajane shoulder a pack of sorts that held sticks in it. She then turned to look at Laxus and looked a little shocked. "Laxus? Have...have you been crying?" She asked.

Laxus sat up and felt the tears falling down his face, quickly wiping them away before standing up and joining Mikasa.
