Giggles

I was tired but I wouldn't sleep. I will never sleep, not after the giggles.
They start every night around one in the morning, the fact that I'm the only human in the house (I have a dog) makes it worse.
At first I thought I was going insane, but then my dog heard it. The giggles started one night and I tried to block it out, until my dog began to bark and whimper.
Now I guess I should describe the giggles. They don't sound like a child's giggles, those are joyfilled and happy. These are the opposite. They sound like an old man giggling like he just murdered someone. Some nights they are faint, like they are outside. But some nights, the worse nights, they sound like they are right beside me. I can almost feel the breath on the side of my face and the chuckling in my ear.
I talked to many psychiatrists about this, but they all say I'm just schizophrenic. But the medians and professionals I see say otherwise.
They say there might be a spirit of an old man that either committed a murder or was murdered is haunted my house.
I tried to move but my family wouldn't allow it. They all say it's safer for me to stay in town, I said otherwise.
There it is, the giggling. Can you hear It? Doesn't it sound like it's right in your ear? Can't you feel his breathing on your neck? No? Well you will, just like they all did.
See I lived in that house before you. I stayed in your room. So maybe tonight when you're in bed, around one in the morning. You'll hear two giggles.
