-The Dragons curse-

°Chapter one°

"Haha! Catch me if you can!" Zach raced, ahead of Ari, gaining the lead by a long shot! "Oh common! No fair, your taller!" Ari began to loose breath, but was able to push through the last few blocks, even thought she still lost. Both of them were breathing equally  fast "I win, you owe me, a dollar." Zach said with huffs and puffs. Ari walked ahead and to her home door, "Shut up, are you coming in?" She offers while unlocking her door. She looked at her mailbox and saw in it a red envelope. She took it and went into her house, Zach following. "What's the envelope for? Er- who's it for?" Zach asked, closing the door. He could never get over how better looking his best friends house was. It's walls were sky blue, the room was lit up by ceiling lights. The floor was made up of hardwood floors, and in the kitchen the floor was made up of dark marble with a small island in the middle with a view straight into the dining room, and living room with a built in stainless steel refrigerator and stove. The two walked through the living room and up the stairs, where two bathrooms at the end of the hall, a bed room to your left as soon as you get up the stairs, another down a little then to your left once again. Above them in the middle of the hallway was the attic but they could never go up there, then, down the hall, past the bathrooms was Ari's room. They entered it, and it was beautiful. You'd always get hit with a wiff of Strawberry mixed with chocolate and vanilla. Her light had different settings so she could set it with any color she wanted. Her walls were sky blue just like downstairs, but with a back splash of waves. The floors weren't hardwood floors, but cloud sky carpet, why? Zach couldn't figure out, she just said "It's soft! Like a cloud!" She had posters of her favorite movies, like the IT remake, Both Zach and her had seen that movie and loved it. Her bed was a king so it was decently big. "Let's get our homework done, alright?" Ari said, then sat down on her bed. "It's the weekend. Let's just have fun!" He said, laying down on her bed. "We should get it done now then play later." Ari grew slightly annoyed. "Or, we could do it later and play now. Plus it's a one page with a bunch of math problems. We've got nothing to worry about." Zach laughted and got an idea. He learned up, then moved quickly and tickled her. Ari screamed-well it was a mix of a scream and laugh. She was on the ground in seconds. "Tickle Attack!" Zach yelled and laughed, Ari snorted and laughed. киσ¢к киσ¢к киσ¢к. Both Zach and Ari jolted up. "Who's at the door?" Zach asked. Ari shrugged and walked to the door, taking a look at the letter again. She looked through the small key hole and saw a tall man dressed in- wait was his skin made out of dragon scales? ari opened the door, the man's skin was regular human skin. "But I swear I saw..eh, doesn't matter." Ari put a smile on her face "Hello sir! How can I help you?" She said with her soothing voice. Zach looked at the man closely, maybe it was his ADHD, or maybe he was seeing thing, but he swore the man's eyes change colors from red to black to blue. "I'm looking for Zach Fragment." The man's voice was deep and creepy, yet oddly familiar to Zach. Ari looked back at him with a look that said "whαt?" Zach shrugged and stepped forward "Im Zach. Who are you?" Zach said, getting slightly defensive. He had bad vibes coming from all around his guy. "Oh, that isn't important, I'm a friend of your dad. He wanted me to give you this." He pulled out a necklace that had what looked like a gem in the middle mixed with the colors blue and red [Look at the background] with dragons around around it. Zach took the necklace, and suddenly felt a surge of adrenaline went through him. Not only adrenaline, but just pure strength and power and- darkness. He had backed out. Ari looked at the man with eyes that said "í'm gσnnα kíll чσu." But she didn't want to leave Zach. She growled and saw the man already running off, but- wait a damn second is that a tail? She had to choose, stay with zach or run after the man.

Finally, I'm done. So uh- I hope you enjoyed it. I know, not as long as expected but, school is getting in the way and just- UGH. Charter two will be coming out soon though as soon as I make the poll and everything. Anyway, enjoy meh first story!
