"Hey Haru! Get up." Someone was shaking me very rapidly. When I finally opened my eyes, I realized it was my stepmom, May.

"Take a shower, get dressed, and then come downstairs to have breakfast."

"Yes mam." I said responsively. Even though I highly disliked my stepmother, I would never disrespect her.

She left the room after placing my school uniform on the dresser.

Shortly after that, I got up and did what I was told.

~~~~~~~~~~
After I took shower and got dressed in a dull, navy blue polo and tan khakis.
I styled my dark blonde hair the same way everyday, which was just however it looked when it dried after the shower. My appearance seemed to improve a lot since I was in middle school, my eyes got brighter blue, I had gotten more muscular, and I know people noticed.
Not like I'm bragging or anything, but I'm getting to be confident now. (Except when I'm around Ryuu)
"Haru! Mom said to come down right now!" My older brother, Taichi yelled.
I ran down the spiral staircase and met my brother at the end.
My brother, Taichi, was very intimidating. His face looked so similar too mine, that when we were little we would get "are they twins?" But now Taichi has a lot of tattoos, which my parents were obviously not quite fond of.
"What the hell are you staring at?"
Taichi pushed me out of his way and ran up the stairs. Yeah my brother was rude, but deep down in his heart he's okay.
I walked through the large, spacious living room, to the fancy dining room, where my dad and stepmom were.
"Good morning." I said smiling, before sitting down at the table, which had breakfast ready for me.
"Where's your brother at?" May asked, before taking a bite of sushi.
"I just saw him go up the stairs, why? Did you get in a fight with him?" I also took a bite after speaking.
"Your brother wants to have a party here, and I said no because I'm not having a whole bunch of drinkers at my house." My dad said in response.
"Oh yeah, speaking of parties, Haru, honey do you want someone to come over and spend the night while were gone?" May smiled before getting up and putting our finished plates away.
"Yeah, sure. Thanks." I got up after eating and said goodbye before leaving the table.
When I got out the door, I checked my phone while walking to my bus stop. I had a text from an unknown number, it read...
"Yo ( ' ' ) It's Ryuu, sorry for randomly texting you, but I thought about you all night...I just really miss you...See you at school Mori-san!
(You better save my number ugly.)"
I really think that Ryuu is messing with me, and the thought of me getting sad over Ryuu joking is getting me pissed and confused. Does this mean I possibly like him?...
I don't want to go to school and I don't want to find out...
