Chapter 19. Half of Shi's past with the god of death

-flash back from nine years ago, 16 hours, 35 minuets and 16 seconds after Shi and Seikatus met-
(Shi's POV)

As me and Shade walked around a forest I saw a weird looking gate. "Maybe we can train there." I said running to the gate with Shade "where do you think your going little human boy?" Asked the demon that's guarding the gate. "My name is Shi and my animal partner Shade. And we were just going through the gate." I said as the demon attacking me. "Watch out Shi!" Said Shade as he Jumped in front of me taking the hit. "Shade! You asshole! Pyro Hell blast!" I yelled out blasting the demon with a pyro fire ball from hell. "You little brat." Said the demon as another demon appears and helps out. "Got you kid!" Said the other demon knocking me out with one hit. "Damn it so close too." I thought to myself. "Is that it are you just going to give up?" Said a voice in my head. "No. I'm just accepting my faith. They overpower me so I have to accept my faith." I thought to myself talking to the voice in my head. "Then you are giving up. You think you should let this bring you down. You." As I cut of the voice in my head and used a strong attack with Shade's powers combined with my powers and almost killing the two demon guards.

-after one straight week of nothing but fighting-

(Shi's POV)

"What's all this fighting about that's going on out here?" Asked a demon god as the demons that are still alive hide behind the demons gods back. "Be careful sir he's more powerful than he looks." Said one of the demons that I fought. "Well than if this kid and this wolf pup were able to do this for one week straight. Let's see how long they'll last against me." Said the demon god attacking me and Shade as a two against one fight started.

-after one month of nothing but fighting-

(The god of death POV)

"Must. *coughs* go on." Said the boy as the boy fell down to the ground breaking the fuse between him and the wolf pup. "What was his name and the wolf pups name?" I asked picking the boy and the wolf pup up. "The boys name is Shi and the wolf pup is Shade sir." Said the demon guard. "This is what you have been hiding from me Shadow and Reaper. You should of let me take your sons under my wing. You two know that I would take good care of them. But now it's time for them to train when they wake up" I thought to myself smiling. "Sir what are you going to do with those two?" Asked the demon guard looking at me. "These two are part of my family so I'll take them in and teach them what I know.

-two years later at school with Shi and Shade-

(Shi's POV)

"Why don't you go home crying to your mommy. Oh wait you don't have one." Said a demon boy teasing and mocking me making me snap. "That's it your dead!" I said in the most deepest and darkest demonic voice I made as I started to beat the hell out of the demon boy. "Someone *breaths* help me!" Yelled the demon boy needing help. "How does it feel to be the one getting beaten up you pice of trash!" I yelled slowly killing the demon boy. "Shi that's enough." Said the god of death walking into the room. "He said something that drew the line...." I said getting off the demon boy walking to my demon god father. "I know. Just don't let your anger be the only emotion you feel." Said the god of death fixing my cloak. "I won't." I said smiling. "Good now you go run along and go home." Said the god of death.
