I slowly walked down the crowded hall of people who seemed to never notice me. I was a part of the blur of the crowd. No one ever looked at me.. I never even realized what any one had ever thought of me. Although everyone appeared like they never saw me.. I eventually realized this one guy look at me in biology lab.
He seemed slim and his hair had a perfect flip. When I saw him my heart started to flutter.
The teacher assigned us as partners for a new project and I couldn't tell if I was anxiously nervous or extremely happy. He walked over and seemed annoyed that he got a looser as a partner. I saw him text his friend under the vandalized table and I tried to look without it seeming too obvious. Through many innapropiate texts I saw the paragraphs he just texted."dude you got Sarah. She's a babe.. I got stuck with some gross girl named Hannah.. Ugh kill me now" I can't believe I actually thought he liked me. Wait this isn't me.. Why did I even care? Snap out of it! I can't believe I thought this ass was actually into me. He's such a jerk!! Ugh?!?!
The teacher announced that we were starting on our projects tomorrow. Instead of planning he just looked at me with a sarcastically disgusted face. I tried to hold in my sad puppy looking face and just started working.
When the bell finally rang I felt a sense of relief shoot through my bones. I could finally get out of that humid claustrophobic room.
