Why do Nfl players make so much money ? Do they deserve it ?

As everyone knows , Nfl players make a lot of money.The question is do they make too much money, and where does it all come from. Why do they make so much more money playing a game than the people serving our country or doctors saving lives? Some people disagree with it and some people don't. To people concerned with the issue its best that they are educated about the topic. There are many places that all the money comes from. According to the IEG , in 2013 the NFL set a record by collecting 1.07 sponsorship revenue.That comes from all the commercials during games especially the Superbowl commercials. Also the Nfl collects money from tv channels that air the games such as , Abc , Nbc , Espn , Cbs , and Fox. You should also consider the fact that all of the NFL jerseys , shirts , hats , coats , shoes , cups and anything else that says NFL on it is a huge money-maker. There are also NFL video games. Not many seasons ago the NFL made 7.24 Billion dollars and revenue.That is enough to buy four space shuttles and pay for ten missions to Pluto. The 7.24 Billion was split with all 32 NFL franchises.Each team received 226.4 million dollars as apart of the split. So yeah that money is used to pay players. Giving back to the community is actually something that happens more than people think with NFL players. J.J Watt , defensive end for the Houston Texans, had done a lot just himself. As people are familiar with the events of hurricane harvey and its devastating effects on families J.J raised 37 million dollars to help its victims and repair the city.Vic Beasley from the Atlanta Falcons started the Rally foundation. The Rally foundation is to raise money to help find a cure for cancer and save lives. In 2016 alone the Green Bay packers donated 800,000 dollars to charitable organizations. The New England Patriots built a new playground for children. One final example is The New York Jets are working to stop bullying and wrote a 100,000 dollars to the Stomp Out Bullying organization.As you can see the NFL is always giving back to the community and without all their money it would not be possible. How come the NFL players make more money than important jobs like the Military , Police and Doctors ? This one seems complicated but it's not very far fetched.The nfl brings in much more revenue than anyone else. Yes the military deserves more money than anyone in the world. The U.S Military is the reason we are free and the reason we stand tall and proud in this country. When it comes down to it without the military there wouldn't be an NFL to begin with. Also unlike football teams , Doctors and cops save lives every single day. So why does the NFL make so much more money? They get more revenue. The Army or anyone else does not sell half as much gear in stores or online.There are not multiple tv channels broadcasting those jobs and paying a lot of money for it. There are not near as many commercials advertising the Police , doctors or military as the NFL. So yes jobs that save lives should get more money without a doubt but the problem is companies cant pay what they don't have. In conclusion the NFL deserves the money they make.They still do more to get it then just go out on Sundsy and play a football game. They sell lots of gear that turns out to put a smile on a child's face when he gets it for christmas ! The most important thing is the players all give back to the community when they do this. Tons of the money is spent for a good cause ! Unlike what some people think these guys still are smart and get an education. Every NFL player spends at least 3 years in college. It takes so much work to make the NFL so much more than what people realize. Being the amount of money the team makes and players give back to the community. The bottom line is when it comes down to the players salaries , they earn it.
