Screams rang through ears as I slowly adjusted to the darkness. The smell of smoke went into my lungs as I went to breath in. I coughed and stood up out of bed. I looked into the hazy hallway and saw fire crackling along the wall. That's when I heard my mother's scream. I ran to her and my father's room. I saw her lying on the floor choking on her blood. I ran to her kneeling beside her," Mom, mom, are you ok? Your going to be ok."
"G-g-go t-to the s-ship. R-run. L-l-leave now. Their after y-y-you. I l-l-love-" she died.
"Mom. Mom, you can't leave me." I cried. I heard the door clatter and my father shouted in fear. He came rushing up the stairs into the room. Once he saw me and my mother and me he got a look of determination. He ran over and grabbed my arm, dragging me outside away from my mom.
He dragged me to the barn and up the stairs. I knew where we were going, the hegazkina. (Plane)
"You need to go. Go to the basamortuko. (Desert) Get off this planet. I'll stall them. I love you."
"No, don't go don't leave me." Crash.
"Go now. They're here."
With that he shoved me into the hegazkina. (Plane) I continued crying as I saw him sprint out. I started it up, and took off to the basamortuko. (Desert)
When I landed I took off to the cave. I had taken 10 steps when they started shooting at me. I ran faster. And faster. Until I got to the cave. I quickly started the sequence and got ready for take off...
