Your P.O.V
I was just starting to drift off to sleep when I hear the lock on the door click and the door squeaking open. Not wanting to take any changes with a robber, I pull out my pistol and tiptoe to the door of my room. Thankfully, I always leave my door open just a crack. I peak out and catch a glimpse of someone walking through a beam of light casted through a crack between the boards covering the window. They were walking towards my room. Luckily for me, my bedroom door opens outwards and I can easily kick it open which will cause them to fall backwards, hopefully knocking them out if I kick hard enough. For once, I'm actually happy I'm not human. Being human means I can't see in the dark. 'Okay, in three... Two... One... Now!' I think, as I kick the door open and to my surprise, I caught the man off guard. My plan worked perfectly. I walk up to the man who is laying on his back unconscious and notice he is wearing a dark blue mask that somewhat resembles my own. As I got closer, I also noticed his skin is a deep gray, he is eyeless and he had a scalpel with him. I quickly drag the man to a room in the basement and chain him up by the leg to a six foot long chain, long enough to reach the bathroom but not the exit, or even remotely close to it for that fact. The room was rather big so he could hardly reach the middle of it. I gathered up some blankets and pillows and layer them down on a mattress for him then checked him for any weapons. Thankfully, all he had was that one scalpel. I wanted to kill him but I couldn't bring myself to do it. He reminded me of someone. Someone special. But who?

Last thing I remember before waking up in this dimly lit room was being hit by a door and falling. Whoever swing that door open was really strong. Probably a man. I can faintly hear a woman's voice and a few sharp clicking noises. I slowly lift my head and moan in pain. "Huh...? Eh," CLICK-SNAP! "God damn it! Fucking shitty ass radio!" The woman threw, what I guess to be, a small radio at the wall. The device broke on contact. Noticing I was still laying down, I sat up, rubbing my head. As soon as I did, I noticed a chain around my ankle. Whispering under my breath, I say "What the-" "Oh! Your awake." The woman spoke to me without turning around. "So, can you answer a few questions for me?" "Why should I?" "Because if you don't," she pulled out (a) (Y/W). "I will have you for supper. I'm not joking either. So, who are you?" "Who are YOU?" "I asked first, now unless you want to be eaten, I'd suggest you answer." I sigh. "I'm Eyeless Jack. Now, you are?" "(Y/N). So, jack, tell me, have you heard my name before?" Her name did sound familiar, but I can't remember anything from my past life. And plus, if she is from my past, how can she still be alive? "Well it does sound familiar, but I've lived for somewhere around... Almost 149 years, not counting days, weeks, or months." "Then there is a possibility that..." "Huh? A possibility for what?" I say, putting a bit of edge to my voice. "Where you sacrificed by your own family?" She said it rather quickly, but I believe she asked if I was sacrificed by my own family. "Uh, y-yeah, how'd you know...?" I ask, a little hesitant at first. "Then he is, no, that's impossible, he couldn't be..." "What are you babbling about woman?" She stood up and turned to face me. The first thing I notice is the red mask that lay upon her face with purple 'tears' streaming from the eyes. It was similar to mine. "Why are you wearing a mask?" "Same reason as you, Jack." "W-wait, did you... Did you take off my mask?!" "No. I have... Respect... For some people and their property..." She sounded... Different... "Are you sure you don't know me?" "I never said I don't know you, I said I don't remember." She mumbled something then put her head down and left the room. I kind of felt bad. I wish I could remember, I really do.
Your P.O.V
I'm sad. Really sad. It hurt to know that someone I knew, maybe even loved and hadn't seen for over 129 years, didn't remember me. Then again, I didn't remember him for the most part either. All I knew was that, at one point, I knew him...
