A smile was plastered across Ian's lips as Jesy pulled into the drive way. He hurriedly made his way over to her and began to unload her cases from the trunk. The faux ginger got of the car and offered to take her luggage from the older man who dismissed her quickly. "I'll take these, you go inside so we can talk schedules and all that fun stuff over breakfast." Before the girl could say anything the man was already off in the direction of the pool house. Jesy shrugged it off and entered the large home.

A pair of bright blue eyes greeted her as soon as she walked in the door. The blonde cheerily embraced Jesy in a quick hug, "You're here early! Excited for your first day?" The ginger let out an awkward laugh as Perrie led her into the dinning room where a full breakfast was already laid out. "I mean this isn't exactly a job to be excited about. Especially in this particular set of circumstances- but thank you for the breakfast and everything." The blonde's eyes widened and she went silent for a moment as a sense of realization hit her. "Right, almost forgot about them. Well, um, listen Leigh should be down soon. Can I make you some coffee or tea?"  Jesy shook her head, "I'm alright but thank you."

The two sat quietly for a few minutes neither really sure what to say. Every now and then they'd glance at each other and flash a small smile. The sound of a door closing caught both of their attention and the sound of heavy foot steps made their way into the dining room. "Morning ladies!" Ian took a seat on the other side of Jesy, "Still no Leigh?" Perrie shook her head, "I'll go get her, excuse me." The younger girl quickly shot up from the table and began to make her way out of the room. "Where ya going Pez?" A sleepy voice asked from the doorway. Leigh Anne rubbed her eyes and slowly found her seat at the table. "Oh, I was just going to check on you." The blonde sat back down in her seat awkwardly.

Leigh Anne rested her head in the palm of her hand as she leaned tiredly on the wooden table. Jesy watched the brunette struggle to keep her eyes open and judging from the dark circles under her eyes, she'd probably not gotten much sleep that night. Ian cleared his throat and grabbed a piece of toast from a plate in front of them. "Now that we're all here we can eat." Perrie nodded eagerly and began to fill up her plate. The petite blonde caused the older man to burst into laughter, "For someone so small you sure do eat a lot Ms. Edwards." A small chuckle left Leigh Anne's lips as she leaned forward and took her own share of the meal. "What can I say? I appreciate the fine art of food." The three all shared a laugh and dug in. Jesy's lips curved into a small smile as she watched the people in front of her, the family dynamic the three of them shared was sweet.

Her hazel eyes flickered back over to Leigh Anne, who tiredly chewed her food. "Jesy, you can just help yourself you know. Dig in." Ian shoved the plate of toast closer to the newest edition of the team. She nodded once and took a piece. "So, the schedule?" The ginger asked, dropping the bread onto her plate. The male wiped his mouth, "Oh right. So right now we're preparing for the start of Leigh'a promotional circuit- For the new single- It'll mostly be performances on a few daily shows and interviews on late night tv, a few radio stops here and there. If everything works out the way we want it to it should be nice and easy. It'll be a little bit of traveling but not for a least the first week and a half. But with that being said, we need to prepare. Almost everything is done we just have a photoshoot planned for tomorrow then rehearsals for the next two weeks then we're on our way."

Jesy nodded, "Gotcha." Perrie looked over at the older girl, "Now that's out of the way. So Jesy, tell us about yourself." Leigh Anne raised a brow and looked over at the ginger. Jesy looked between all three sets of eyes that stared at her, and let out an awkward laugh. "Not much to say really." Her voice trailed off and her eyes darted down to the plate before her. "Bullshit." Perrie quickly said then received a hard nudge from the dark skinned girl beside her, "Ow. What? She's the quote on quote 'best body guard out there' and I'm meant to believe there's not much to know about her?" The room fell silent in wait for Jesy's response. However, that response didn't come she kept her eyes fixed on her plate. Leigh Anne pushed herself up from the table, "Well, um, we'll have this conversation another day. I'm gonna go get dressed, Jesy will you come with me?" Perrie and Jesy both looked up at Leigh Anne quizzically. The ginger nodded and stood up.

The pair left the other two to finish their breakfast and made their way upstairs. As soon as the two were in Leigh's room the brunette quickly shut the door and locked it. Her slender finger pointed over to the bed as she turned to go into her closet. Jesy began to speak, "About back there, it's not that I don't want to talk about myself- I just, it's not part of my job. I'm not gonna be here long so-" The darker girl turned back to Jesy and held up her hand. "I didn't pull you up here to talk about that. Go sit while I change." The older girl shuffled over to the bed and took a seat on the edge. Leigh Anne swiftly switched out her pajamas for a long sleeved white shirt and a black skirt. She took a seat beside the ginger on the bed and gave the other girl her cell phone. The message from the night before displayed itself on the screen. "I got this last night. I- I was gonna call you but I... couldn't. So I tried to ignore it and go to bed, which didn't go great. Jesy, I need this to be over. Do you really think you can help me- protect me from whoever this is? Because if you can't and this is a hopeless fight then I need to know that now."

Jesy's eyes looked up to meet Leigh's stare. Her brown eyes were filled with fear. The older girl took the singer's hand in her own and gave it a small squeeze. "This isn't a hopeless fight. I'm going to do my best to keep you safe, you have my word on that. Whoever this is, we will find them and all of this will stop, alright? This is just a threat, nothing more." Leigh Anne laced her fingers with Jesy's and rested her head on her shoulder. Jesy wasn't sure what to do since she barely knew the pop star and had never comforted someone in this situation before. "What about everything they've done before though? If all of that was just a threat and it keeps getting worse... what will this be?" Leigh Anne's voice was filled with worry. "I don't know." Jesy answered truthfully, "But whatever it is, it won't hurt you."

A/N:
This is kinda a shitty way to end the chapter but I'm really suffering with this writers block right now. I had a different version of this chapter planned but I want the story to go a different way so I scrapped it. I promise the story will get better soon and the stalker gets more of a role.
