Jaeden's POV
When they called Alexa's names my head shot up and so did Alexa's moms.

"Yes, I'm her mother" Alexa's mom said to the doctor

"She is stable right now but she's still not awake, you can see her if you'd like"

"Thank you"

"Only 3 visitors at a time though"

"Okay"

"Jaeden, you can go in first I'll stay here" Talia said

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, your her boyfriend you need to see her"

I followed Alexa's mom and Julia into the room Alexa was in. She was connected to a bunch of wires and there was a tube down her throat. She still had a bit of dried blood by a cut on her head. Her mom sat in the chair bedside her bed and I stood on the wall just staring at her.

Her mom said some things to her but I didn't hear a bit of it because I couldn't stop staring at my beautiful girlfriend injured in a hospital bed. I just kept thinking about the situation till I was physically numb. Alexa's mom tapped me on the shoulder to tell me she was going to give me some alone time with her.

"Oh god Alexa... why did this have to happen to you, you're my ray of sunshine and now you're hurt. I love you so much Alexa, and I know you probably can't hear me and you can't respond but I'm saying this anyways. You're my favorite person and I love the way you smile when I'm awkward. And I love when we first met in person and you made me blush so hard my cheeks got hot. You are my best friend and my girlfriend wrapped into one and I don't know what I'd do without you. You promised you wouldn't leave me, please keep that promise and stay alive. I need you Alexa, I can't live my life without you in it."

I grabbed her cold hand in mine and stroked it while I started to cry. All of a sudden I felt my hand being squeezed. Alexa just squeezed my hand, the tears faded and I was happy. I went to get the doctor and her mom and tell them that she squeezed my hand. Every day I hoped she would improve and then I would be able to talk to her again.
