Atlanta Federal Bureau- Atlanta, GA.
"All five men have one thing in common..." Special Agent Smith, otherwise known as my father, continues. I personally don't get his obsession with these cases. The harder to solve, the more satisfaction he gets when he finally cracks the case. Well in regards to the cases at hand now, nobody's been able to solve. Seven long, agonizing years my father has been trying to solve who is the mysterious seriel murderer is. He even managed to drag my sorry ass into it when I was fresh out of the academy, that was three months ago. Which actually feels like three lifetimes ago.
His profile on our murderer is simple. Twenty to twenty-three year old male, enjoys the thrill, and has serious problems downstairs.. if you know what I mean.
I happen to think his profile is bullshit. I mean the old man has been in the game for damn near thirty five years but I can't help to think that he has this profile all wrong.
"All five men have two bullet wombs.. One to the penis" ooh that's got to hurt "Then one straight to the heart." He drones on.
It's nothing I haven't heard before. Every time we have a new victim he gives the same lecture to the unfortunate souls, including myself, that were stuck with the case.
I personally don't understand a damn thing about this particular case. It goes hot then it goes extremely cold. There's no pattern, no motive (known), no suspect (damn shame), and no relationship between any of the men.
I just don't get it. It makes zero sense.
Apparently this case hasn't been brought back since the last poor soul was shot in the junk and heart two years ago. Glad I wasn't there for that long ass investigation and this boring lecture.
The poor soul that dear ol' is droning on and on about happens to be case number five.
That makes: Joe Anderson (aged 41), Joe's Liquor owner, married, 2 children... Howard Killard (aged 44), stock broker, bachelor, no children... Josh Little (aged 39), no job, welfare, drunkard, six children, running from child support fees... Kaleb Black (aged 42), priest, closet drunk, abused wife, three children, dipped into the church's savings, never payed taxes... and finally our latest poor soul, Richard Smith (aged 43), owner of Diamond Valley Sports and Beyond, no children, two time divorcee, drunkard, and man with enough debt to turn a monk to the bottle.
I have no clue how in the name of god we're supposed to find this murderer whoever they may be. There are no similarities between these men. No information that indicates that they knew each other, different walks of life, different cities, and different states. There is no new information that indicates who this person is. No forensics, no evidence, no nothing.
Whoever this murderer is, is smart. Really smart.
But what they don't know is that this time around, I'm on the case. Special Agent Allen Smith is going to solve this case, and this person will be brought to justice. It's only a matter of time that this person will slip. And when they do...
