     "Jo."

     "Jo, please talk to me."

"Joseline, it'll be alright." I whip my head around to glare at Harry, who is stood behind me with his hands on my shoulders. I slap them away, feeling very uncomfortable and disgusted at both him, and myself right at this moment.

"Don't tell me anymore lies, Harry." He sighs and runs a stressed hand through his hair, looking towards me with sympathy.

"I-...Jo I'm just-....Dammit, i'm just trying to comfort you!" He yells in frustration.

"Well your not doing a very good job at that, now are you?" I snap and he storms off to find Louis somewhere else in the market.

After hours of driving and searching for somewhere safe to stay for the night, we ended up driving a good three hundred miles from the city, all the way up to Montreal (New York) just to be safe. It was now currently 2am and we had decided to stop at Walmart to grab some necessities after checking into our hotel. I was currently sat in their built in Subway Deli just trying to collect all my thoughts together. Louis had been calling me nonstop all six hours of the drive, claiming that he had to pee, so he was off somewhere looking for a restroom.

I had no idea what to no next. I had no backup plan, no plan B, C, nothing. My father had always kept everything on point, always guided our train in the right direction and kept it on the wobbly tracks. But he was missing, no trace or clues whatsoever left behind. Of course I couldn't get it out of my mind that my mother was dead, really gone. It took me this long to realize that both my parents were my rock that I constantly leaned on for support, too lazy to stand up on my perfectly fine legs.

But now my support has vanished. I'm left to stand on my own, and my legs are no longer as strong as they used to be. I feel as if this is the first time i've ever learn to walk, and anytime now, my whole world could come crashing down beneath me. I guess it's true that you never learn to really appreciate something until after it's gone. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I took it out to see Liam's name flash across the screen. I knew I should expect a call from him, but I never thought it would be this early.

"Hello?" I heard nothing on the other end of the line but heavy breathing and quite frankly, it scared me because the same thing happened when I called my father, and now he's missing and my mother's dead.

      "Liam?" Nothing.

"Alright, who the hell is this?" The line goes dead, and I look down at my phone to see the screen shortening out, flashing a mix of bright colors for a minute and then stops abruptly.

I look up and out of the window when something catches my attention out of the corner of my eye. There in the middle of the road, stands a dark hooded figure that looks similar to the one I saw at the smoothie shop when Harry took me for lunch, back in Manhattan. It had that same stare, the one where you couldn't see their eyes but you knew it was looking straight at you. It scared me, not only because I had seen it once and now twice, but that we were nearly in the middle of nowhere, so it had to have followed us here or something.

It began walking towards the Deli window and I panicked because we had left all of our weapons stocked in the hotel room, and I was unarmed if it decided to like, leap through the window or something. No one else was around in the Deli, so I did the only thing I thought of doing at that moment.

"Harry, Louis!" I yelled desperately as the figure got closer, paralyzing me with fear. It stopped when it got right up to the window, raised it's hand, and simple waved at me.
