The knock on the door suprised all three of us. None of us seemed to know who would be here. Who could possibly be here?

The knock startled Beth for a second, but I didn't know what was going on. Who could it have been? There's not many people around, only about 600 people in Sorra. There's actually small villages around, and I sometimes actually go to them. Mostly I stay to myself, that's the way I like it, same with Beth and Quinncy.

"Who's that?" I asked Beth.

"Probably some raiders tryin' to get in," Beth said with annoyance in her voice. "I should do somethin' 'bout it," She said, getting up from the ground slowly.

She was way too calm for something like that. So I had to ask her, "How are you always chill?"

"When you don't care about dying, you stop caring," She said in a serious tone.

"What about Scott and me? Don't you care if we die?" Quniccy said, standing up and stretching.

She did not respond to him, but we knew she would care a lot. She's just one of those people that try to act cool, but on the inside they're soft and sensitive to other people. It's kind of amazing, I don't know how she keeps her cool. I've had several panic attacks within the year, that's only because of our situation with living areas.

She walked over to the ladder, she looked actually concerned for who was at the other side. I could tell that she was shaking, anxious of who could be at the other side. She started to twist the door latch, I start to get anxious too. Who could it have been? Unless...oh, no. I already know who it is.

My theory of who it was, was correct. Out of all people it had to of been him, Franklin. One of the worst people in the wastelands. If he's at your door, you'd better hide quickly and hope that he doesn't find you.

"Beth...are actually you gonna open that?" I said nervously.

"What other choice do I have? Either I let him in and Hope he doesn't hurt us or he'll break in and probably Slaughter all of us." She said, stopping from opening the door to talk to me.

She was right, we didn't have any other choice other than open the door. Even if they thought we weren't in here, they'd  break through the door. This was one of the scariest situations I've had.

Quinncy was silent, but he knew what was going on. I could tell he was scared too.

Whenever Beth opened the door, we could smell them instantly. The smell of pork and other meats could be smelled.

"There ya go," said deep voice, getting closer.  "See how much easier it is when you cooperate?" The voice asked Beth.

"Why do you have to be here?" Beth said, an angry expression on her face. I could tell she wanted to hit him so bad, probably more than that. She couldn't do it, he was too big.

He got into the Bunker and I could see him clearly: he was at least six feet tall, long hair with a black beard, almost black eyes, a gray shirt that was worn out, and a green bandana around his neck. Even if you didn't know who he was, he looked like trouble. I only knew him because Beth had told me about him, and I've seen him from a distance before, raiding a village.

After I was done looking at him, I noticed that he had a large knife. I could tell he didn't want to kill us, but would if he had to.

"Oh, you're new," he said, looking directly at me. The second he said that I shivered. I didn't respond to him, but I did look away. "It's considered rude not to respond, ya'know?"

"Maybe he doesn't want to respond to you," Quinccy said, not looking at Franklin. I couldn't believe he said that to Franklin, what was he thinking?

"Normally, I would stomp that cat, but I'm feeling good today. So this is just a warning." He said. I couldn't tell if he was bluffing or not. Would he do that to an animal?

"Look, Franklin, we don't have anything you can take from us, there's no point in you being here." Beth said, trying to get Franklin to leave.

"You can't fool me that easily, I'll look around to see if there's anything I want to take."

"You're a horrible person," I said nervously.

He turn back to me with a smile, or creepy one. "So you really do know how to speak."

"So what if I do, asshole?" I said, realizing my mistake.

Beth and Quinncy looked at me simultaneously, they can't believe I said it, either. Beth look at me more concerned then Quincy. I look back at Franklin, he was enraged.

"The hell did you just say to me?" He said, stepping close to me, reaching his hands out to me.

I was scared, I didn't move, I didn't know what to do. Was this what kills Me? I close my eyes and accept my fate. I waited and waited, but he didn't touch me yet. This is when I heard him yelp.

I open my eyes to see Franklin. He had a scratch mark on his face, and Quinncy trying to stay away from him. He scratched him to distract him from me. I was shocked.

The world seem to move a lot slower, I could see Franklin trying to strangle Quinncy. Whenever he got his hands on him I snapped. Everything could be seen from the clinch of my fist, to the swing, to the hit to the face.

I just hit Franklin in the face, I was so dead. He's going to kill me.

I could see the shine in his knife, he pulled it out on me. He was going to stab and kill me. I only had one real question: how would it feel?

He cut me a little on my hand, the cut was deep and bled everywhere. All I could do is scream from the pain. Quincy looked shocked at the cut in my right hand. The second Beth saw this, it was enough for her.

While I checked my hand, hoping I won't get cut again, Beth had jumped on his back. She was putting her arms around his neck, trying to bring him down. He was so much bigger than her, but couldn't get her off. Quincy and I were stunned at this.

"Run! Get out of here!" Beth was screaming at us. After she said that, Quinncy and me ran up the ladders and back into the wastelands. We could see Franklin throw off Beth and looked at us.

I picked up Quinncy and ran as fast as I could, wondering where we could go. That's whenever I noticed it: The Wall. It had a giant crack in it! Me and him could fit! That's what we did.

We ran to the wall and try to fit through the crack, it worked. The second we were past it, the air was so fresh, I could hear people talking, I could see buildings, it was all so much for me. Where am I?

The second after I thought that, I passed out.
