BTW, every character in Chances and Same Mistakes is based off of a real person. Ashley, Brittney, Haden, Matt, Greg, Justin, MJ, etc, etc. ALL OF THEM!!! And yes, they really do act like that.

Ally's POV

"I'm bored."

"Well, I'm working. So, shut up."

"Ally McRay, you are no fun at all."

I rolled my eyes at Harry's comment as I got onto my bike. Today was my last day of work, and I had told the boys that I was working late. In reality, though, I was going shopping for a birthday present.

"Well, that doesn't matter to me, Hazza. I have to go. Someone just ordered one of those really big sundaes that take 4 people to carry. See you later!" I lied smoothly, before I stuffed my phone in my pocket. Lying came really easy to me. Annika is a terrible liar, but I'm pretty good.

I sped towards the mall, and got there in record-breaking time. Louis' crappy little Chevy car was sitting in the space beside me. Louis was sitting in the driver's seat listening to Katy Perry at a very high volume.

"LOU!" I screamed right next to his window. He looked up from his phone and smiled at me.

"Hello, love. Are you ever going to stop driving that motorized death trap?" he asked. I shook my head stubbornly, and he rolled his eyes. Louis always advises me not to do things that have gotten me hurt in the past, but he never really enforces it.

Louis got out of the car, and wrapped an arm around my waist. I sighed and we walked towards the entrance of the mall together.

"So...what are we supposed to get Daddy Direction for his birthday?" I asked.

Louis shrugged, "I dunno."

"Then why did I bring you?!"

"Teamwork?"

I rolled my eyes, but laughed. I think it would be a lot easier for me to shop for Lou, rather than Liam. Or Harry. Harry would be easy too. And Annie is SUPER easy. Okay, I guess it's easiest to shop for your closest friends, but WHATEVER!

"Okay, so, where should we start...?"

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LIAM!!!!!!" I screamed. Liam suddenly punched me in the jaw out of relexes, but I laughed, cracking my jaw back into place. I should really be less okay with getting hurt.

"Oh, god! I'm so sorry, Ally!" he said quickly when he realized what he had done.

"Don't worry about it." I said. Harry, Zayn, Annika, and Niall couldn't stop laughing. Louis was laughing too, but it was muffled. He was currently in the kitchen, getting me ice.

"Is it seriously the 29th?" Liam asked groggily.

I nodded, still trying to position my jaw, "Ya, I should probably call my dad too. You two have the same birthday."

Louis handed me the ice pack, and I held it to my face. Liam sat up and shifted so that we could all sit on the couch with him.

"Okay, you should probably open Lou and I's gift first, because we're both shit with presents." I stated. Liam laughed, and I handed him the box.
