We just freaked ourselves out last night

-Janice's POV-

We're all outside because we decieded to do our school work out here, Nancy, Carol and I are sitting down on a blanket next to a tree I'd say about 100 feet away from the house so we are not in the field.

Carol is doing her work, Nancy is playing some stick and Kate, Tierney and Skylar are running around sister Charlotte laughing.

Girls, girls sister Charlotte says chuckling while trying to catch them while they continue laughing.

They stop let's go back to our studies, okay? Sister Charlotte tells them, o-okay Skylar replies while sister Charlotte grabs their journals.

I turn my head back around looking at Nancy to see she's still playing with the little stick.

I look up at her you okay Nance? I ask her concerned, she looks up at me then we hear a car door shut so we all turn to see Mr. Mullins is in his truck then takes off.

I turn back around looking at Nancy again did you really see Mrs. Mullins in your room last night? I ask.

Yes, we swear, we were under the covers- she gets caught off by Carol, Nancy, stop it.. We just freaked ourselves out last night, you know that Carol tells her while I look at her then Nancy again and she seems scared.

-sister Charlotte's POV-

I'm back in the house and I hear the bell ring so I walk up to Mrs. Mullins room hearing the bell again.

I put my hand up about to knock should I knock? I say to myself, the bell rings again so I breath in and out knocking a little.

I open the door peeking my head in Mrs. Mullins? I say walking fully in and close the door.

Sister Charlotte, could I trouble you for a glass of water? She ask pointing to the water but I can't see her.

Of course I replie smiling a little then my smile disappears, I walk up to the little table next to the wall pouring some water.

-Janice's POV-

I walk into the house going into the little room that I confessed my sin opening a little door.

I walk down the hall to see pictures on the walls walking to Mrs and Mr. Mullins door.

I open the door a crack looking in all of you are more than welcome to stay as long as you need I hear Mrs. Mullins tell sister Charlotte.

It's good to hear some life again she continues while sister Charlotte puts down a glass of water next to her.

We've been cooped up here so long, I'd forgotten what that sounded like she says.

-sister Charlotte's POV-

I look down at a picture of a little girl what a lovely picture I say, she was taken from us at an early age, unfortunately while I look at it shock with my mouth open a little looking at her.

If you could turn away for a moment, sister? She tells me, yes, of course I replie turning around.

I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter I tell her looking in a mirror seeing Mrs. Mullins wearing a mask so I quickly turn away.

But we find comfort in knowing she waits for you in heaven I continue, I wish that were true she replies.
