Powder is a genius 17 year old with albinism. His mother is struck by lightning while he is still in her womb. Tragicly his mother doesn't make it, but Powder survives.
Disowned by his grieving father he is raised by his grandfather living all his life on a farm until his grandfather passes away.
Jessie Caldwell of child services finds him and takes him to a all boys home and enrolls him in school. Where he meets Donald Ripley and his daughter Shaylyn.
Powder has unique physic and electromagnetic abilities. He is treated cruely by his peers due to his odd appearance and powers. However he quickly wins the trust of those around him.
