The truth is I never expected that I would fall in-love in my third year of middle school. Just as about the leaves were a-falling, she entered my life. Red velvet hair, brown sparkling eyes with long eyelashes curled up, and a smile that can reach further from the horizon: This is Linda Park, the Western high school Madonna. She was a transferee in class B, where my class is! Rumors say that Linda was the chairman's daughter, He buys and gives whatever Linda wants but unlike the stereotype spoiled brat, Linda was kind enough to refuse her dad's offer instead she spends her money wisely and saves them for future use. Her kindness can reach even to the lowest of scums in our class and that includes me! Every time she walks in the corridor with her friends she greets everyone with a bright smile. The boys in every classroom would go on stampede just to see her. She smells nice and she's well dressed. Her grades are average though but In terms of music, her passion can easily be noticed. An excellent pianist and singer, a beauty, and a kind daughter, I think there's nothing more that you can't like about Linda Park.

"Dang" I said in astonishment.

"Linda again huh?," Kurt said. "Still hoping?"

"maybe" I replied.

"Then make a move. You have a chance" he answered.

"Hey, if anyone's got a chance to date her It'd be you"

and this is my best friend...

Kurt Reeves, the campus King. His looks are as amazing as always and it could never be compared to any average handsome guy, like totally! Brown straight hair swept in different direction, blue sharp eyes, and a jawline just about proportion to his face. Not only that, Kurt is ace of the basket ball team in our school and he competed in the nationals where Western high brought in the Gold trophy. His grades in other subject are pretty much average but his science and math are top-notch. Kurt Reeves is the treasurer in our campus and also the campus secretary's son. Of course he's a favorite among girls but he turns down their every confession. I don't know why Kurt is this close to me. Unlike him, I'm just an average guy in the campus and much as well treated by girls as scums or perverts but his bonding with me is special and that's what make me special too I guessed.

"So...What are we in for lunch?" Kurt asked.

"The usual"

"Oh your lil' sis home-made lunch box?" he joked.

"Yes" I answered, bluntly.

Kurt looked embarrassed after his joke became true. He looked away as if he pities me of my fate in life.

"Err...You know that...Your little sister did effort in making that :D" he comforted.

"Oh so it's okay to eat a poisonous beef seasoned with garlic and ketchup and vinegar and put melted cheese and pickles and hard to eat rice that's more dangerous than arsenic--"

"OKAY. That's enough. I get it, it's not delicious but at least your sister gave her love and effort in that lunch box"

"Is love okay to eat?" I answered.

Kurt was out of speech, he stood in silence. There was nothing to say about it anyways. So probably he's thinking of changing topics.

"So umm...Linda." he said

"Yeah, Linda"

"Aren't you going to make a move on her?" he asked.

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

What can I do with Linda Park? Make a first move?

It's not like there was a chance for me to confess to her. We live in different worlds I know that to well but I can't help daydreaming on what would happen if she did turn to like me. I know that I should face reality, Life Is not a movie, or a novel, or an anime, or a T.V series where the main character of the story ends up with the girl that never noticed him but I'm not the main character of this story, if anyone could be more suited for a main character it would be Kurt, I'm just a background.
