My memory does not serve me well. I recall nothing of my past, and I know nothing of the person I was or the mind I had.

But after years of just living off of nothing, and of wondering what exactly I had forgotten and left behind, I care no longer. I have found my wretched father, but that matters not. Something I do not recall is not worthy of my time. Since the day I woke in that field of green, I have made my own choices, my own decisions, and I stand by them. What matters is what is here now. The way I live and the way I go shall be decided by me, and no one else. I will fight for what I believe is just, and need nothing else but my heart to guide me. And it is with my friends. My comrades. The ones I love. With us united, and absolute faith kept, we shall know victory.

Time does not -- no, will not -- wait for me.
