Chapter Three

LENA'S P.O.V

I groaned, waking up to the sun peaking through the drapes and catching my face, i feel like I've been hit by freight train

I'm so exhausted!.

Growing a human being inside you is not an easy task, don't get me wrong I've always wanted to be a mother but this morning sickness is driving me crazy, and i can't even eat what i want.

Baba get me feeding on crackers, i need food! real food!

"Stop thinking so hard, you'll get wrinkles" says a sleepy brooke.

"Huh?"

"I can hear the pipes in your head overworking"

"No they are not!" I turned to face my wife whose eyes are still close, I furrowed my brow.

"Stop doing your brows like that you'll get wrinkles!"

How does she do that without even looking at me?

Sometimes i wonder if she's psychic

Then again she's my wife so she's knows me better than i know myself, we've been together for a decade now we've been married for 4years but we've been together for 6 before marriage so she knows everything.

"You done?"

Pulling me from my thoughts, i faced my wife only to be lost in her beautiful blue orbs, piercing into my soul.

How did i ever get so lucky, i never expect my life would be like a fairytale

I married the woman of my dreams, we are expecting our first child and I'm doing my dream job which is LAPDs finest

Which I'm not doing too well in right now because of all the nausea so I'm not in the field like how i would want to, I'm in the office doing paperwork now and then.

"Heeelllooooo? Earth to lena!"

Brooke Pulling me from my thoughts once again.

"Are you okay sweetie You seem little lost there for a minute."  

Taking brooke's hands in mine, lacing them together.

"I how did i get so lucky?"I asked

"No am the lucky one lena, you have made me the happiest wo," i cut her off with my lips attached to her face.

"Lena, honey! Breakfast is ready!"

"In a minute babe I'm on the phone with lilly"

"Okay honey! But tell lilly that you need to eat and a tiny human inside you to feed."

"Oookay! I'm coming"

"Lilly i gotta go brookes getting irritated because i need to eat, haven't been holding anything down lately so  its important that i eat, so talk to you later, okay"

"Bye."

Ending the call i head to the kitchen to see my beautiful wife at the island waiting for me.

"Here you go." pushing the breakfast infront me.

"High-fiber cereal with berries and milk

I think baba will let you hold this one down, huh?"

" Let's hope so cause I'm really really hungry"

With that said i shoveled up some cereal and in my mouth it went.
