Justin has changed his life style on it's head since we last left the two love birds. He figured that he is not gonna just sit around and stick to his schedule, planner or what ever piece of paper he has with his plans and classes on it. He will be dead soon and so he took some drastic measures.
He dropped out of school, started smoking, shaved his head because why not he is gonna lose it anyway might as well make it sooner rather than later. Everyone in his life that has known Justin and didn't know about the tumor was shocked, could not belive their eyes.
David supported every step he take no matter how much he was worried that some of these life style changes could speed up the process even more. He wanted to spend as many quality time with Justin as he could while he was still a live which was not very long.
As days past, and turned into weeks Justin's symptoms got worse by the minutes. David has seen a lot of bad days of Justin life while he was in the stage of dying but this day was very different. Justin collapsed again like he did the first time, David knew that this was urgent and was nothing unlike when he just passed out for a minute or two this was the real thing.
Justin was checked in to the hospital. Justin was slowly recovering from the collapse he had, his eyes opening looking straight to the wall and when he finally came to he looked over his left shoulder and saw his one true love. Justin started to smile showing off his perfect dimples took a minute to look at David and said with a weak voice »Hi«.
David was all so happy he woke up so that they could say to each other some words before the time comes, because they both figured that death is right in front of the door and they are literally waiting for it to knock and step in to take Justin's life.
David: I am so happy you are up, I wanted to talk before you go. Can we do that?
Justin: Sure, there is something I wanna tell and that is about my feelings for you.
David: Ok, please go ahead please.
( David said, hoping to hear something he could treasure to the end of his own life )
Justin: Well, this ILLNESS really put things prospective for me you know.
David: No, tell me
Justin: Everything is different now, but not like in a bad more like in a new experience kind of way. I have realised how much of my life I have thrown away before I found out about the cancer. I see everything differently like the colors are more vivid and alive, I appreciate more of what I got like my home, my family, YOU.
( Justin grabbed David's hand and looked into his deep ocean blue eyes )
David: I am so glad I have met you and that we got together because you are the best thing I have ever had.
Justin placed the hand that his was holding to David's and put it on his cheek.
Justin: David we both know I am gonna die today I can feel it in my bones literally of all the bone pain I can feel that my life is coming to an end and I am glad I am spending it with you.
While Justin was expressing how he feels about him and about his death, David's cheeks were no more dry they were wet of the tears he had shed from listening about the love of his life dying.
David: No you can't die not yet, I need you hear. I don't know what I will do without you, I will go insane not knowing you are not with me.
Justin: It will be alright, I will always be with you. In here (Placed his hand on his chest where the heart is ).
David touched Justin's pale and cold hand looked into his dark brown eyes and just when Justin was about to let go and put his life into Gods hands he spoke his last words to David saying: »SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE«
David was denying the fact he was about to die right then and there in his arms. It was in the matter of time when the time came and the flat line on the monitor shows up and Justin died right after he spoke his last words, laying on his left side and looking at the person he loved the most at exactly 8:22 PM.
There they were Justin on the bed pale cold, David closing Justin's eyes as a sign of respect and looking over the person he once loved and the is the story of A Secret Gay Crush.
