Veronica's POV
I ran all the way to my car and just sat inside with my face in my hands. Then I felt something wet on my face. Tears. Actual tears dripping out of my eyes on after the other. Soon I was sobbing over a boy who I never even had a chance with. The thing I'm really upset about it is Alexa. She betrayed me as a friend and I don't think I'll ever forgive her for that.
I turned up the radio which was playing one of my favorite songs 'Deepest Part Of Me' by KYLE!
I hummed along to the song and decided to go to Burger King. Don't judge me okay? Ya girl needed a pick me up.
I drove into the drive-thru and ordered a Hershey Sundae Pie and some fries. I drove up to the pick up window and rolled mine down.
I was greeted by a very cute guy who was tan and tall looking. He had light brown hair kind of swooped to the side and really pretty green eyes. He grinned at me through the window showing a mouth of braces.
"Here you go ma'am!" He said happily.
"Thanks!" I said with a smile.
As I was about to drive away he stopped me. "Wait do you go to Hawkins High? You look familiar."
"Oh yeah I do. I'm Veronica Andrews." The cute guy smiled at me.
"That's where I know you from!"
I looked at him with a confused expression. "Uh where?"
"I remember you for being one of the prettiest girls there. I'm Bryson Hill."
"Nice to meet you Bryson." I bit my lip a little out of sudden shyness and smiled at him. Suddenly I heard a honk behind me. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw a big line of cars behind me.
"Damn it I'm holding the line up!" I slapped my forehead with my palm and smiled apologetically to Bryson and told him I had to go. He handed me my bag with my food and waved as I drove off. When I stopped at a red light and looked down at the bag to get my fries out I noticed something scribbled on the inside.
