Lucy's Escape to Paris

The boat

When Lucy got to the docks it was almost sunrise. She hid behind some trash cans to try to figure out if any of the boats are going to Paris. She overheard some crew members of a boat talking about how they are going to Paris to deliver tea to the tea company. She waited until the crew members went into the dock's restaurant. Then she snuck onto their boat. She went down into the storage area and found a place behind some boxes to hide.

When the crew members came back on to the boat she heard them coming down into the storage area. She was nervous that they would find her and kick her off the boat. One of the crew members a tall man with brown hair and beard was just about to look where she was hiding when one of the other crew members yelled for the bearded man to come help him.

It had been a few hours and Lucy was getting tired and hungry. She ate some of the food she packed. When she was done eating she was very tired but she was nervous to go to sleep because she didn't want one of the crew members finding her, but she fell asleep a few minutes later. In her sleep she dreamed of living with her Aunt Grace she was so happy it was the best dream she had in a long time. She couldn't wait to get to her Aunt Grace's.
