childhood friends

(Y/n's POV)

Me and Diego had been best friends since we were in dipers. As of right now I'm 13 and he's 15. And I'm sick and so is he. I was currently laying in my bed. It was time for school and I wasn't going and since my mum was going to work. She dropped me off at Diego's house. And the great thing about it. Is that it was Friday. Diego didn't go to school anymore. I thought he was lucky. The only reason I went was because art. Other than that fuck school. Anyways I was walking up to his door. I knocked and his mum answered. We hugged and I went to Diego's room. I laued down. It looked like he was asleep. So I took off my shoes and laid beside him quietly. I started to close my eyes.

(Diego's POV)

I felt someone lay beside me. I look over slightly. I saw y/n. I chuckled to myself quietly. She was so cute when she slept. I turned towards her quietly and quickly. I watched her. Man I am a creep. I laughed a little. She yawned. "D. Stop watching me. It's kinda creepy." She giggled softly. My face was red. "I-i umm I didn't mean to be a creep. I promise!" She laughed more. "Its fine. Now. Come get some cuddles." She smiled. We cuddled more.

~some months  later when y/n turns 14.~

No one's POV

Y/n's feelings have gotten stronger for Diego. She has been crushing on him more. She has been really awkward towards him. She couldn't really controll her shyness from him either. It was y/n's birthday. They were at her house. She had been bored. Her mum and Diego's mum Candy went to go get the cake. While her and Diego stayed at her house. Diego was playing a video game while she watched.

(Y/n's POV)

Hmmmm. I can do it. But I'm scared. What am I scared of? He might think of it as a friendly kiss on the cheek. Hopefully. What if he hates me because of it? I started to freak out a bit. I calmed myself. I sat beside him. I kissed his cheek quickly. I ran off and hid in a closet and covered my eyes. "Shit. He hates me." I covered my mouth. "I c-cursed" I shrugged it off quickly. "He's more important right now. Ughhhh. Y/n! Why did you do that you dumb idiot." I said to myself. I then covered my face again and I heard a small knock on the door.

(Diego's POV)

S-she kissed me. Well not me. But my cheek. My face was red. I got up and went to look for her. I looked around the house. "Hmm.. Where is she?" I cane up to the closet. My last option. I knocked quietly on the door. I didn't hear anything. I opened it carefully. I saw her. There. On the floorm she had her eyes covered. I sat beside her. "Y/n?" She looked up a bit. "Yea?" Her cheeks were stained with water. "I'm sorry about earlier..." She started to ramble about how sorry she was. "Y/n?" She looked concerned. "Y-yes?" "Shut up." I leaned in and kissed her. She smiled into the kiss.

(Y/n's POV)

I tapped on his shoulder when we pulled away. "Yea?" He smirked. "Dont tell me to shut up. Now come kiss me." He chuckled and he kissed me. "So does this m-" "yes. Y/n." I smiled and giggled. We got out if the closet and we went back to the livingroom. We watched a scary movie while cuddling and of course eating junk food. My mum and his mum came in . "aww. " they both said. Me and Diego both laughed and after that I had the best party ever.
