Part 1

Class is so boring and pointless. I want to leave already.
I sighed, and then looked out the window.

Mr. Satō cleared his throat, "Ahem, Miss Y/N, please pay attention to the geography inside the classroom instead of the geography outside."

"Alright..." I glanced towards the front of the room where he was.

"So, let's see if you were listening. What did I just say?"

Just as I was about to reply, the bell rang.

"Okay kids, see you Monday!"

  Everyone was in a rush to get out of the classroom as usual, so I waited until they all left. A few girls lingered in the classroom, gossiping about who knows what. I glanced over at the unnoticeable boy who was sitting in the back of the room, reading.

Did he not hear the bell? Jeez...

Just as I was about to leave, I heard a commotion in the back of the room.

"Get your face out of your book, nerd."

"H-hey, give it back!"

I glanced over, and saw Yamazaki and Maebara teasing him as usual.

"Or what?"

Yamazaki grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him out of his seat.
I approached them.

"That's enough."

"It's Y/N!"

Yamazaki released him and he and Maebara took off running.

I gave a sigh of relief, "Seriously, what's with people these days?"
I was about to walk away, when the boy stopped me.

"Wait... I just wanted to say, um, thanks.. I really appreciate it."

"No problem."

I left the room, and started down the stairs. At the lockers, I saw Airi and Natsuki waiting for me.

They both smiled, "There you are!" Natsuki said, "Let's walk home together!"

I nodded.

I took my shoes out from my locker and changed into them.

"Okay, let's go!" Said Airi.
