A cry for help

Chapter 7

My enthusiasm kinda disappeared by the time i got to the gates.

I stood still watching everyone race into school wanting to be the first to get their slurpees.

"Come on Fef-"

"Don't call me that here please." I interrupted Piggeh, making him chuckle and push me on with Mr. Chair trailing behind.

"Okay we need to go, good luck FEFE." Piggeh yelled making everyone turn to us.

I held my breath hoping they wouldn't notice who he was talking about. Luckily they just turned away and continued talking.

"Goddamit Piggeh..." I sighed, pushing the doors.

I head towards Hannahs office since i was holding back tears all the way here and her office is the only place where i can. It looked like was fine on the outside but on the inside i was breaking.

"Come in hun." She called from inside. My eyes had already started to water making me curse quietly.

I took a deep breath and walked inside, she turned her head and smiled at me.

But the smile quickly faded as she saw a stray tear wonder down my cheek.

"You never cry..." She gasped, yes Hannah knew me that well to know that i would never cry even if i was really upset.

She got up from her computer chair and pulled me in a hug. Despite how nice it felt it just made me cry more.

"Shh.. Shh.. Here come sit on the bed." She guided me with both hands on my shoulder to the bed.

I sat down slowly before covering my face with my hands. Hannah went over to her owl blanket and place it over my shoulders and wrapped me up.

"Okay start slowly." Hannah pulled up her computer chair in front of me and patiently waited for a explanation.

"My... Mother.. she has.." I burst out in tears again and muttered a broken sorry.

"It's okay just take it slowly." She smiled sadly, i knew she hated to see me this way. It just wasn't.. Me.

"Can...Cer..She has.. Cancer." I blurted out rubbing more tears away.

"Oh no... I'm so sorry.." She muttered pulling me into a gentle hug as if she felt i was going to break.

"Do you want to stay here for today? I'll be the first one to get any calls and i don't think you're in a fit state to go to classes." Hannah patted my back calmly and sat me back down on the bed.

"Ok..ay." I nodded slightly with any energy i had left.

"Here go to sleep, i can tell you're tired." She gently pushed me down so my head rested on the pillow and pulled up her blanket so i was tucked in.

"Sleep well Felix." She kissed me softly on my forehead making me drift of into dreamland allowing me to forget all my troubles.

So that day wasn't as wonderful as i thought it was going to be, i didn't get to talk to Marzia, i didn't get to go to Gaming class. I also didn't find anything out about that mysterious dude. However i did have the pleasure of being able to say that i got sleep all the way through school. ;)
