My Life

I wake up to my brothers fighting across the room. I yell " Jared! Shane! I am trying to sleep here!!!!!" Then they start throwing pillows at me, while Jared yells" You are not the boss of us brace face!!" "With four eyes!!!" Shane adds snickering. Then my mom walks in saying in a calm voice, " Boys, you know how much your sister hates it when you call her a brace face with four eyes. Would you like it if they called you that? It is very hurtful. Especially since those braces and glasses are there to help her." The boys automatically shut up. "Thanks mom" I say. " No problem Abigail" she replies with a smile. I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Abigail, and I am 13 years old. As you could probably guess, thanks to my brothers, I have braces. Metal braces with dark purple buttons. Also as you could probably guess, I have glasses. They aren't ugly glasses, but people make fun of me all the same. They are thin and rectangular. They are light purple with darker purple swirls. They also have a small hot pink jewel on each side. I honestly like my glasses but no one else seems to like them. And the worst part about it is that I have to share a room with my twin brothers, Shane and Jared who always make fun of me because of my braces and glasses. And I know you are probably thinking, "Well it's only two people. You can survive that!" But that is SO not true. I have more than two siblings. I have ten. Seven brothers and three sisters. And each and every one of them makes fun of me. But that's not all, it's not like once I get to school it's a whole different world. I have one friend that I couldn't replace, Amanda. But other than her, nobody likes me. I am famous for being the brace face with four eyes. Not even the teachers like me, because I am not very bright. Well, I think I understated that. I have dyslexia, but no teachers believe me when I say it. And my parents refuse to believe I have dyslexia too. All their kids are straight A or B students but I am the odd one out. I am stuck as the straight C and D student. It's quite embarassing being the only dyslexic kid in my family. Well that's all really to say about me, so I am just gonna go back to sleep.
