Now my wings curl under your stare

The sky falls down on me
I'm underground, I can't see
My world is shaking, my heart is racing
I just can't keep on falling
With your heartfelt smile and warm brown eyes
How long should I wait for you to realize?
We can't keep going without knowing
Can't you hear my heart breaking?
The world doesn't spin tonight
Without you it doesn't feel right
I'd be lost without a cause
A game without a pause
Let's keep breaking our hearts
Expectation tearing us apart
Sad blues and tearful melody
Why can't you just love me?
Late night texts and secrets reveal
Oh but you're all that I feel
But I'm all alone, stuck in the friendzone
As I see you smiling through the phone
I'm still here, I'm still waiting
For your heart to see what it's been missing
For your eyes to reach mine
I'm still here but running out of time
