the rest of the people
took their turns;
and near the end of the session
bernie wanted to strangle them
for saying, "hi," too much.
after most of the people left
the leader approached bernie,
because he was still in his seat.
"young man,"
he said,
"i have to wait until you leave."
"i'm sorry,"
bernie said unapologetically.
"i hope you come again."
"i hope not,"
bernie said,
under his breath.
