Jess sat down in one of the four chairs surrounding the table that was at the end of the hallway. She was in the seat that was to the left of the window seat, (the window seat is the seat that has it's back to the window) with Jasper across from her in the one to the right. "Who was the girl in dorm three?" She asked about a girl with short brown hair, who she had seen enter the third dorm.
Jasper replied, "Her name is Peanut."
Jess looked at Jasper with a quizzical expression, "Wait, her real name is peanut?"
"That's what I said. She refuses to tell anybody. Gabe-"
She was cut off by a tall, thin boy with wild, red hair. "Tried to guess her name. She punched me in the gut." He took the seat across from the window seat.
Jess held out her hand, smiling, "I'm Jess. You're Gabe, correct?"
Gabe shook her hand, "Bingo. Nice to meet you, Jess." He pulled two fingerless gloves out of his pocket. "I'm the Sagittarius."
"The Re-" She was cut off by Gabe.
"Rebellious one? You could say that. I prefer the word revolutionary, but rebellious works too."
She folded her arms, "How does revolutionary make any-" She was again, cut off, by none other than Gabe.
"Sense? Actually, it makes perfect sense. I would be the leader of the revolution. No, not would be, I am."
"Could you please stop interrupting-" He cut her off, again.
"No. That's what I do." He smiled evilly, stood up, and walked away.
Ace walked up and sat down in the window seat, "Who was that douchebag?" He said, smiling to himself.
Jasper crossed her arms, "He's the rebel of the Zodiac."
Ace smirked, "That is the Sagittarius???" He laughed to himself, "That guy? I thought they said that he was also supposed to be a reasonably good person to people that don't have power over them."
"We don't have power over anyone, though." Jess said.
Ace smiled playfully, "You have power over me."
She rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smile, "Fuck you."
Ace leaned towards her, placing his elbows on the table, "When and where?"
Jess nudged his shoulder, giggling.
Jaden walked out of his and Ace's dorm, rubbing his eyes. He was in blue pajama pants, a tight sleeveless under shirt, and a pair of bunny slippers.
Ace smiled, "Heyyy!!! It's Senor Snooze!!!" He laughed.
Jaden took the seat that Gabe was in, "Morning, guys." His outfit completely conflicted with the other's.
Jasper had orange sweat pants and a grey sweatshirt that she had stolen from her roommate.
Ace wore navy blue slim jeans, a black short sleeved t-shirt that complimented his eyes, and shark tooth necklace with black string.
Jess wore skinny blue jeans and a purple t-shirt that said 'rad' in white text that looked like someone had spray pained it onto the stomach of her shirt.
Ace folded his arms, smiling, "How was your until-noon rest?"
Jaden glanced at his watch, "Actually, it's only 11:57 and I woke up about five minutes ago. But, it was pretty good."
"I was rounding." Ace replied.
"Well, I'm gonna go." Jasper walked back to her dorm, and disappeared behind the door.
"Actually, me to." Jaden smiled, "I'm hungry."
"I'll cook," Ace offered, "Jess, how about you join us?"
Jess stood up behind Ace, "Sure, why not?"
They all walked into the room, and Ace turned on the stove, "Eggs, bacon, and pancakes sound okay?" He smiled.
"Absolutely," Jaden smiled back, "That sounds amazing, man."
*****
Jess, Ace, and Jaden sat in the Taurus-Scorpio living room. Jaden sat on the chair, finishing the meal the Ace had made, while Ace and Jess sat on the couch. They were watching a movie that Jess brought from her dorm called The Zodiac Experiment that was based off the same concept, which is where Jaden guessed that the people running the experiment got the idea. The only difference: people killed one- another.
Jess buried her face in Ace's chest, clenching the back of his shirt tightly in her hand. She was afraid of gore, which was covering the screen.
He rested his hand on her back, smiling, laughing a bit.
"Is it over yet?" She asked, her voice quavering.
"Not quite yet," Ace laughed, "Give it a sec."
She reached for a blanket at the top of the couch, and spread it out over the two. She still had her face buried in his chest. "Now?"
"Yeah," Ace lied.
"Okay," she looked at the screen, then immediately turned back around and buried her face in his stomach with a shriek.
"Ha! Gotcha." Ace chuckled.
"That was mean!" Jess exclaimed, hiding under the blanket.
Jess grabbed on to the front of the top of his jeans by accident.
"Hey!" Ace exclaimed, jumping a bit, "Watch where you put your hands!"
"I imagined that you would've liked it," Jess giggled.
"I never said I didn't." He smiled slyly.
