Chapter 7

PREVIOUSLY ON FAKERS

'"You good babe?" Harry asked. "Sage?" I asked. She slowly pointed to something and we followed her finger, hesitantly.

"shit." We all said in unison.

"Peyton, Sage, welcome to the most dangerous place in the woods." Lyla said.'

Sage's POV
I look towards a certain part of the forest and see a pale figure hiding behind a tree. As I here Harry and Lyla explaining how they're wisps and all, I see glowing eyes.

"You good babe?" Harry says, looking at me.

"Sage?" My brother, Peyton asks. I point my finger towards the eyes. And notice the eyes getting brighter. I don't seem to acknowledge the heads following my hand hesitantly.

"shit." We say in unison.

"Peyton, Sage. Welcome to the most dangerous place in the forest." Lyla said. Next thing you know the pale figure that I saw earlier peers her head around the tree. The moonlight hitting her pale features almost perfectly.

"P-Peyton?" I asked stuttering.

"Yeah. I see it too."

"Don't freak out. She can smell fear." Harry said . The figure moved from behind the tree to where the moonlight hit her entire body.

"My queen." She stated, bowing. "We've been expecting you your highness." What is she talking about. I nervously glanced at Harry and Peyton.

"What do you want with her?" Harry and Peyton said in unison, both stepping in front of me.

"I've come to bring back my queen and restore her full power." She said. Lyla stood next to me and grabbed my hand.

"Well too bad. We're just passing through peacefully. We mean no harm or disrespect." Lyla said, gripping my hand tighter.

"Well I'm sorry to say that we're not leaving without our queen." The girl said.

"We're?" Harry questioned. He stepped in-front of me and Lyla. I heard Peyton growl as he also stepped in-front if us. 

"She said we're passing through peacefully." Peyton said lowly with a growl which was much deeper than his normal voice.

  Something was very different and it didn't scare me but it did feel like the atmosphere was really thick and intimidating.

Suddenly I feel a presence but not just from behind us, they were everywhere, I slowly turned around and saw millions of glowing eyes.

"Guys, we're trapped." I muttered but loud enough for them to hear me making them also look around.

"Now like I said, we're not leaving without our queen." The woman said lowly coming fully out behind the tree.

"What are we gonna do?" Peyton asked whispering to me, I honestly didn't know either I was just frozen in place.

"Either you hand over the queen, or you die right where you stand and we'll take her ourselves" The woman threatened loud for all the vampires and for us to hear.

I looked over at Peyton and could already tell something was changing about him, his eyes started to change from light and vibrate to dark and shadowy.

I was gonna put my hand on his shoulder til Harry stopped me by holding my wrist making me turn around to look at him dead in the eyes.

"You might wanna stand back for this one babe." He muttered and I looked over at Lyla to see she's already centimeters away from Peyton and I.

I nodded slowly and stood back to where Lyla was "What's going on?" I asked looking at my twin who is currently clenching his fists and jaw tightly.

"Just watch." Is all Lyla said making me start to worry about Peyton even more.

"Attack!!" The woman I'm guessing the leader yelled making all of the vampires charge towards us three and Peyton who was currently standing in front of us.

The next thing I know I'm blinded by a very bright light and I hear a loud growl from in front of us.

I open my eyes and sees the spot Peyton was standing in is replaced by a black and white colored wolf.

"P-Peyton?" I gasp and see him attack multiple Vampires one after another.

"Sage we gotta go!!" I snap out of my daze and feel Harry grab my wrist again and dragging me god knows where.

"What about Peyton!!" I yelled trying to force Harry to let my wrist go.

"We'll go back for him, right now we gotta get you to safety!" Lyla explained running alongside Harry.

"No fucking way am I leaving him behind!!" I tried harder to get out of my boyfriend's grip, but nothing was working.

"Sage please!" Lyla yelled over all the growling and screams.

"Hell no!" I yanked my arm away with all the strength I had and felt the rush of energy come through me, then I started running so fast I looked around and saw all the trees pass by me really slow.

Peyton's POV

I can hear everything..

I can see everything..

"Attack!!" I hear the woman say and immediately I tackle a vampire that's trying to grab Sage.

I don't know HOW this happened and I don't know how I'll go back to normal but that's gonna have to wait until I'm finished with these bastards.

I feel one of them tackle my back and bite down on it but not hard enough to kill me because I pulled them off by the head and smashed them on the floor but not too hard to kill them.

I look around and I see Sage, Lyla, and Harry running off which makes me more relieved.

I grab another one by the leg and throw him hard knocking down others.

(TIME SKIP because I lost ideas lol)

"Retreat!!" I heard the woman say and before I could kill the one under me he disappeared, I growled annoyed and looked up to see Sage.

Sage's POV

I finally made it to the middle of the forest and saw vampires beyond vampires on the ground either unconscious or dead.

"Retreat!!" The same woman said and with that all the vampires including the one under werewolf formed Peyton disappeared.

I looked over at Peyton and his wolf form was very beautiful with shades of black and white scattered all over his fur, I panted from how fast I ran and walked over to Peyton slowly.

He finally transformed back into his human form, there was so many questions running through my mind and I bet it's the same for Peyton too.

"Well that was insane." Harry said walking up to us also.

"We'll answer all your guy's questions as soon as we leave we don't know when they'll come back but I know they will." Lyla said holding Peyton's hand trying to keep him balanced.

"Yeah, and also take it easy Peyton you got some recovering to do." All he did was nod and started to walk with Lyla out of the woods.

"Let's go baby." Harry said holding out his hand which I gratefully took and walked with him.
