Chapter 2 - The Perfect Party.

I woke up with rays falling over my face through the window. The day. It was the day today for me to go with Liam I sat on my place for a few good seconds smiling and thinking that Liam really noticed me let alone asked me out. It was the happiest day of my life.

I hopped out of my bed and went to the washroom doing my routines. I brushed my teeth and took a quick bath and walked out of the washroom and walked towards my walk in closet, yap I had one.

I walked and looked around to see what should I wear.

And then my eyes went over to a batman crop top and jean shorts, well I didn't really have the perfect body like the barbies that go in my school but I don't really care.

I wore my clothes and walked down to the kitchen to see my breakfast ready on my table. Maria.

She is just like my mother but more like a best friend. She was in her late thirties. She had a daughter 2 years younger to me who usually came over at mine during vacations. She has been around with me since my childhood since mom dad are usually on tours, I share almost everything with her more than my parents, except mom she knew every inch of me,in fact she also knew about my obsession with Liam. She had then asked me to be patient and have faith that one day he shall ask me out. Looks like it worked.

But Maria knew about it as well, if I had none to share my thoughts about anything at home then Id share with Maria. So I had both Maria and Mom. Dad didnt show much interest. Bleh.

"Good morning, Maria" I greeted her with a smile on my face. "Oh my darling,Laial good morning to you too" she greeted me too with a smile. "The breakfast smells yummy, cant wait till I have heaven in my mouth" I said with the excitement in my voice, to be really honest she made the best pancakes in the world.

She laughed at my excitement and said "Oh dear, its just a normal pancake, you exaggerate it too much" she came walking towards me and stood there smirking for few seconds until I looked up at her and asked "What?" with some pancakes stuffed in my mouth.

"You seem extremely happy today, Laila. Is there something you want to tell me but have forgotten?" She said with another smirk.

Blush crept up my cheeks I must have been probably a tomato by now. "Well uh you went home yesterday to check up on Miranda, since she was sick, so I was home late and tired so I couldn't tell you. How is Miranda doing now?" I tried changing the topic but I guess I did it.

"She is fine. Just gotta keep up with her meds. So what happened? You are not getting away with this, Laila" she smirked again. Spoke too soon I guess.

"Well..." I started by stretching the L "Liam asked me to go to this party down the street that his friend is throwing with him" I said blushing. "And?" She asked with a sparkle in her eyes. "And, I said yes and thats why I came home late and slept early because I went for shopping with Rebecca" I looked down playing with my fork.

When I saw Maria, it looked as if her eyes would come out anytime soon.

"Really? That blind boy finally opened his eyes and saw you. I am so happy for you" she said excitedly I giggled at her excitement and said "I happy too" with a little blush.

"So what did you shop for tonight?" She asked me "He actually asked me to wear something sexy, but I don't know if I will look like one, but hold on let me show you, lets go upstairs."

I pulled her all the way to the top till my bedroom "Oh my, seems like you really excited for tonight, you got me tired girl." I chuckled and went to my walk in closet and removed my bag and pulled out my dress from inside kept it over the bed and asked "So.. What do you think?" I asked nervously.
